Default Good setup?

I needed a good board for around my college campus. So, today I ordered one. Just wanted to check if it's a good setup(never heard of the truck brand before).

Board: Arcane Lil Fin
Trucks: Tracker 106 RTX(Front) and Tracker Dart(Back)
Wheels: Sector 9 61mm wheels from bamboo board

He also said it would include risers and bushings(idk what kind).

Sector nine wheels aren't the best, but they will work. If you have the cash, get zig zags, or seismic wheels.

And he's right, risers and bushings affect the way your board turns. A bushing kit only costs around $35 dollars, and will last forever.

Also, aren't you going to need bearings, spacers, etc.?

I would rather some zigs, but money is on the low.

And I think it's going to come with those, as he's selling it as a complete.

Also, on Tracker's site, I don't see the dart in the 106 size. But that's what kind of trucks he said I was getting.

I have heard good things on the RTX, but nobody has mentioned the darts.

your sigs cool, but its freaking huge. might wanna think about resizing it.

for a campus board it sounds fine. i have a small quiver of longboards, but my street deck often becomes the board of choice for class to class transportation, just because it ollies well and has a kicktail on both sides. the wheels arent soft/smooth and it doesnt turn as well as my other boards, but thats besides the point, it does the job fine. you dont need new wheels or great trucks.

^OK, resized.

And yea, should be fine around campus, and for getting around short distances. I want it to be carvy/pumpable, too.

Should be sweet.
I own one Arcane board with another on the way.
Good product, good communication, good price.
106mm should be fine. I would most likely stick with 66mm or smaller wheels
Use risers accordingly.

That set up sounds good. Like others have said you may want to get different wheels later on. I like the Bennett Alligators 62mm but retro Zigs are great as well.

I think I know who you got it from and he more than likely has it set up to ride great.

Ahh, the board-maker himself. In the future I might upgrade the wheels to some bennets or some zigs. Depends on how much I see myself actually using the board(probably alot).

And yea, it's the man who has been doing some collabs with you, and it should turn out fine.

Plus, I get to try it out in person, because we both live in San Diego.

S9 wheels aren't the best...but you're looking for a board to get around your campus. That setup should work well.

its me! hahaha

ill make sure to have you ride it before you decide, if i still have my midtracks ill bring them as well to the deal in case you dont like the RTX/Dart. but since you want to pump more midtracks limit you on speed, but can turn on a dime!

well see when we meet. ^_^ and its sector nine bamboo wheels, in my opinion some awesome wheels for minis. bennets would be better but waaaaay more expensive and i think zigs are borderline too big for the lil fin, you need heavier risers to make it a pumping little maniac board. ^_^

Sounds good man. Do you have risers/bushings I could try out when we meet, too?
