Just cruisin is fun cause you can see things you'd miss if you were haulin hindtale through an area, plus its a great way to clear your mind, and its all round fun, especialy if your ridin with younger people like when i ride with my little cuz's. they arnt so speed worthy, which is where cruisin somes usefull, cause it teaches em to stay on the board for one, and you arnt in any big rush

This makes me so anxious to get moved in to our new house! Has a nice place to cruise and I can't wait for some chill rides that don't involve a busy street at night.

If by ride flatland, then yes, I cruise all the time. Savannah literally means flatland.

We got loooong stretches of flat, straight roads.

I'm a pretty damn good distance pusher, as it's my primary means of transports.

Cruising also entails powerslides, dancing and other gnarness.

I cruise it's all I really do. I live on a military base so the roads are always flat and pretty smooth. I ride everywhere with the music bumpin.

Cruising was the original reason longboarding was created - to feel like you're surfing. I love just cruising and carving around, it's one of the most relaxing things.

There is no such thing as longboarding, the sooner people realize its all skateboarding the better.

    Agreed.
It's really not a complex concept.
What really ticks me off is when I'm talking to a street/park skater and they start every sentence with "well in skateboarding" or they ask "They make indys for longboarding?" - no they don't. They make Indys for skateboarding.

Flex is fun, I love my HC47 however I love to sidewalk surf, so the HC47 is not always ideal. Surfing is at its best when you can pump everything

cruised to the store today. the long way to the store. had lunch at subway, first time in a long time eating alone too )': then onto the grocery store. nice weather, got the scoop on the hood too. funny how opposite real life is to the way we think. found out an old neighbor that just moved wasn't such a good neighbor like i always thought. can't get this stuff driving in a car, on a bike or on a bus. have to be out there feeling the air in your face and moving slow enough that stopping to talk isn't a problem

Distance skating is kind of like intensified cruising, and I do tons of of distance pumping and pushing. It's a very primal form of skateboarding...

Skateboarding; fast enough to get you were you need to go, but slow enough that you don't miss all the sights, sounds, and experiences.

I love cruising and commuting across town. Except at night.. I attract sketchy drug dudes that are lurking in the shadows trying to escape the fuzz. true story.

agreed! used to work until 11:00pm in the heart of the city and a lot of times i'd be skating a little slower (up an incline) and would always hear, "hey skater". just made me push faster and harder to get away. the nights in shady areas are not good, especially when you're skating alone. always made it to a bus stop where people were waiting. if you stop moving seems like the cockroaches come out of the cracks around you
