I'm stuck inside cos of the rain aswell dude. I got a 10 min ride out on my street today then I decided to clean my bearins cos I havent done it for about 2 weeks. and just 5 mins ago I wanted to go out and I improvised a way to keep water out of my bearings. Selotape! I put it across the front of the wheels and a bit on the inside to prevent water getting in on the outside and narrow down the hole on the inside. soon as I did this it started chucking down with rain and I thought sh** I aint goin out in that so now I'm stuck inside doing french homework. ):

I took a mellow ride with my nine year old niece today. It is awesome to see how much she has progressed over this past year. We also practiced a few new moves in a parking lot. It felt like the good old days. It is beautiful in ColoRADo today.

I went out and tried to do something I saw in a loaded challenge vid. You turn your front foot to 90 and bring your back foot around to he front then turn your foot 90 again and step back round to your original stance. I couldent do the second step to start of with but after a little while I could do some fairly smoothly but not very fast. I also practaced riding switch, doing jumps between stances, cross stepping and doing the thingy where you only carve on the toeside. It was a nice ride exept it was a biut wet and my feet were sliding all over the board.

My morning commute ride this AM was pea soup foggy, so much moisture in the air it coated my glasses totally obscuring my vision and coating me in morning dew. But hey it wasn't raining and I got to skate to work; which is a miracle this time of year in PDX.

doing more of the hill to the flats and jammed my foot breaking heel into the asphalt. wont have any trouble remembering not to do that again getting a lot better at footbreaking and finding out it doesn't work when its raining confirmed an evo is one of the nicer commuting boards. skated an unfinished bike trail along the river just to find out it it was a skater friendly surface. could be better but it is ok. proly not for smaller wheels but otang 4pres rode fine. be worried with wheels like noskolz etc.

Footbraking in the rain. Ha!! Thanks for the LOL loug. You ever driven a pickup truck? I love my trucks but holy crap, a wet fart by the crossing guard can cause me to break traction with the rear wheels.

Sorry about your heel. It's a week today since I twisted the knees and now I'm starting to think I might have to go visit the guys in the white coats.
