Great prices also! $130+$30 shipping from Canada, completely worth it if you want something you will be happy with for a very very long time to come.

You can get two different sizes, 60" ($135) or a Jr dancer that is 45 1/8" ($130).

Here are his "standard" full size (60") dancers:

why is the board so inexpensive?

I don't think the Gravity Ed Economy was intended as a dancer so it probably won't excel in that regard. But it was designed by THE original longboard badman who was schooling fools on 50"+ before most of us were born. For surf-stye on banks, ditches, and street (and for fending off angry mobs) it's a great hunk of wood.

I have an old 13 ply Street Rider and love it (wish I could find a 15ply Ditch Rider). Not a dancer (OSD & Roggs for that), but excells at all you said except the angry mobs (too heavy and long).

Fighting angry mobs all in the technique. And using a big gun like the Eddy you'll want to: (A) Light it aflame and roll it into their midst or (B) Place large rocks or similar projectiles onto the nose then jump down heavy onto the tall and catapult them into the crowd. NOTE: You can really take the fight out of an angry mod by aiming for the leaders first.
