Welcome to the fish!
A smooth ride means taller wheels with a smaller core (more urethane depth)

Flex 2 vanguard with tracker fastracks, soft blue bushings, 1/4 inch soft shock pad and 72a purple skunk avilas. High quality aftermaket shoe insoles.

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
That sounds good.. but i'd opt for a G&S pintail for the deck

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
welcome to the fish.
if you want a smooth ride you want something fairly flexy to absorb cracks in the sidewalks and bumps, look into a G&S pintail like ogre said, a flexdex, or a kracked skulls
either way, my recomended setup is randal RII 180's, bigzigs, biltins, and a shock pad

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
I'll throw in a rec for Earthwing Superballs 76mm for your wheels. I've got them on my Superglider and they roll over just about anything.
Supercharger / Paris 180s / Superballs
Dervish / Randal 180s / Freerides
Tabor / Randal 150s / Fat Frees
Dancer / Paris 180s / 4Presidents

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
You want smooth, go for the 75A Gumballs = plush city

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
I recommend abec biltins bearings. Super quiet and smooth. Bones reds with spacers are pretty smooth IMO too if you have the axle nuts firm but not tight.

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
what about a REALLY long board like a platy or OSD?

Re: Looking for the smoothest ride possible
earthwing wheels have a very, very smooth ride. thats what theyre made for. they are very soft and are a fair enough size.
my input:
Never summe heist
randal 42 degree trucks
earthwing freeriders
biltins
85a supervarves
very low and soft wheels plus very turny. soft ride
perfect boardwalker

Santa Cruz OJ3's Hot Juice Wheels 60mm around 78a. I think but these are great wheels and not to costly. Look on Ebay.
