Mini must use Original S6s

So this is my first post. I've been longboarding for about six months. I have an Original Torpedo 40 with S10s. Between my friends I've ridden over half of Originals lineup, however I've not written the Derringer 28.

Anyway, I'm looking for something smaller for when I'm not hitting a session but instead just trying to get somewhere, store, bar, etc...

At this point I'm down to the Derringer 28 or trying a Legendary Merlin with S6s. Anyone know what kind of wheels I'll be able to run with the Merlin and S6s or if it'll work at all? I've heard the Merlin is very stiff (although I figure all minis have to be a good bit stiff), what I love about my Torpedo is the flex and I know for a fact I'm not a fan of camber.

Alright, so this post has been all over the place. The important part: Derringer or Merlin with S6s if it'll even be possible?

I've got a Derringer and a Gnome, both on S6's. Some random comparisons off the top of my head:

You could probably use a little less riser on the Merlin, just due to the shape. Derringer has more flex & spring. Legendary's are better looking. Legendary has the edge on price. I find that I feel more comfortable & on Derringer, I think due to the wider front platform and deeper concave. Also probably because I can get my feet closer to the trucks on Deringer than I can on Gnome.. but Merlin will probably make that about a tie.

I'm not sure if anyone is actually interested, but I went with a Derringer 28. I emailed Legendary about S6s on a Merlin and they just wrote back that they hadn't tried it. So I decided to go with something I know will work.
