you're silly.
paris makes fine carving trucks. and gumballs are pleasant riders with savage grip. go have fun.
if you're second guessing yourself, check out randals, revenge, or indy's for trucks, and for wheels try otangs, bigzigs, zigzags, or seismics.

indys for carving?
I'd take those off the list but leave the rest.

get some soft bushings or cones and maybe bigzigs for more grip so you dont slip out. but you're gold on the paris for carving.

Re: good carving setup/tips?
I run holeys with gumballs, gumballs are so good for cruising, i have them in 75a, big hunks of urethane roll over anything and make really rough roads bearable. The holeys are great for carving, with a 60* baseplate, plus they look pretty damn cool and the stock bushings are sweet. Paris and randals are good, but for carving i think holeys take the cake (out of the reverse king-pin trucks) and although i haven't ridden them revenges look to be some carvy ass mofos. Haven't ridden indys, but from my experience with standard trucks, theyll carve good, just make sure to have some soft bushings in there.
