Won't that screw up the wavecam or whatever? I'm pretty sure you are supposed to ride Original trucks loose...

The Custom 45 was my 1st Original board. I originally sold it, but I magically got it back and am so happy I did. Such a great big hill carver. The 56' board is such a cruiser. The length of the board with the S10's are just amazing, its like sex on the flats or small hills <3

Re: Original Set Ups
This thread makes me wanna put some originals on my Ed E. Do S8's line up well with the cutouts? How much riser do you guys use?
If you go fast enough, you never have to look back.

All my boards have the riser that Original sends you with the trucks. I'm pretty sure it's 3/4th of an inch. I've heard of people using a riser kit and getting away with 1/4th of inch, but I can't guarantee it works because I've never tried it.

200 mm Original, Landyachtz pintail, 73 mm Seismic Speedvents. Hell of a driveway cruiser. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws

I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world.. without you. A world without rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.

Re: Original Set Ups
Apex 37
S8's, black springs on both.
Stock Abec 3 bearings (Cells were out of stock when I bought the board)
Stock 70mm Kryptos (couldn't afford any other wheels at the time ><)
Board definitely goes quite a bit faster than I thought it would. Haven't gotten speed wobbles yet, except after hitting a bump while going pretty fast.

How do you like the Manhattan 27? I've been looking for a shortboard with high rippage/pumpability. What do you say about it?

Get a Dervish with soft bushings, if you still don't like it, buy some Original trucks and just mount 'em on there.

My Original Quiver:
Apex 37
Custom 35
Malakai 40
S6
S8
S10
Black, Red, and White Springs.
(Going to test some proto type bushings on the Original Trucks)
So far I really think Retro Wheels are the best fit for these types of trucks and board.

My buddies derringer runs S6 with 75mm BigZigs No wheel bite at all. Just watch out for your feet. His set up is so much fun.
