Noob needs help..
Hi guys!
I've been longboarding for a while, but i'm a noob when it comes to setups and boards=P
I'm looking for a board who is made for crusing, Carving and speeds up to 50 km/h
Does annyone have some ideas about what board i should pick? i weight around 70kg.. I'm thinking around 40" and its also going to be used as transport.. prices up to around 2-3 hundred.
i've looked at Apex 37 and the supercharger, but some help would be greatly appriciated!
Thanks!

Re: Noob needs help..
if you want to spend the money, loaded vangaurd is a nice cruiser, it can do anything you want, carve hard, slide, nose and tail tricks are tougher though, if not dervish is a sick board. But the apex is an amazing board too. my friend has it and the trucks make the board, hope this had some sway in your decision ahaaa

Re: Noob needs help..
Comet FSM is 40 inches long,
I've taken mine up to 40mph so it can handle speed... easy to push, easy to slide..
what more could you want?

Re: Noob needs help..
might you try out the XVD pintail. it's light, agile, and has a responsive flex. wheel cutouts allow bigger wheels, multiple wheelbase for stability or agility. what more could you want in a board? 36" long. short nose/tail for nosemanuals and kick turns. with the larger wheelbase i took it up to 30mph no prob, on double cone bushings too.

take a look at the Rayne Hustler. I'v had might for two weeks and love it, i take it every were i go. Bamboo, i'v taken it to 50 km/h, wheel cutout for big wheels, 39" long, and drop thru.

Also the dervish. Get the dervish over the vanguard. The dervish has a tail and you can do more freestyle in the future as you get better, plus all the things you want now. But the rayne hustler and dervish are similar.

i think i'll go with the xvd! It looks like a really good ride(:
But do you have some sugestions on setup?
Indys with soft bushings for a low easily pushed board.
Randals with soft bushings for a carvey yet stable ride.
