    Default Possible Daily Commute

Last X-mas, I cruised 13.4 miles to my friends house to enjoy a tasty snack I hand rolled, then 13.4 miles back. North Florida terrain (mostly flat, some hills) a lot of slight, long grades that made it impossible to ride more than a few feet without kicking. My calves felt like they were three steps away from exploding, but I feel I could trek that daily after my legs adapted to that kind of stress.

    What range do you get?

Do you have sidewalks and/or bikelanes the whole way to your friend's house?

I have a friend whose house is a distance that I think that I would like to skate, but at some segments there isn't a sidewalk and no real bikelane to speak of.
I'm just wondering, if your route has a similar situation as mine, how you deal with that and how cars react.

Is it? What does the law say about skateboarding on the road? Is it because we're pedestrians?

Anyone who doesn't really have a sidewalk or bikelane or some kind of lane on some roads they skate to commute on? What're your experiences?
Sorry if this is a thread jack, but uh, sounds like a good place to catch commuters.
    How about you Cann0n?
