Alternative to a Dervish?
I'm looking at a new board, as I gave away my 41" Force board to my mate as a going away present.
Now I'm in need of another and would love the Dervish (Flex 2) or something very similar to that, as in the shape, dropmount, size and flex.
Thanks in advance

Landyachz drop carve. A little bit cheaper and still has all the same things the dervish has.

I'm guessing your looking for alternatives because Loaded boards are usually a bit pricey?
Company - Longboard
Nelson Longboards - The Carbon Dropthrough
Flexdex - L37
Never Summer - Heist (my board)
xvd - Intruder
Landyachtz - Drop Carve
and...you can always just get the Dervish, since it sounds like you want it anyway.
That's all that comes to mind at the moment, I hope that helps.

I may still consider the Dervish, but if I can find a board that is pretty much the same as a Dervish, I'll grab that instead
I'm especially looking for a board with similar flex to the Dervish Flex 2
It has already been mentioned twice. I recommend the Landy Drop Carve. Flexy, and bamboo. Better than the dervish IMO. Search, there are tons of identical threads.

Neversummer heist.
Best alternative out there in my opinion

I really like my Heist.
Question to oh_lol though, are you looking to do tricks on the board that you're going to get?
I can do nosemanuals and shove-its on my Heist, but I'm thinking if you have large feet it may be more difficult because of the nose and tail of the board. I wear about a size 10 US shoe.
So that may be something else to consider.

Really dude? You can be nice in your criticism. Just suggest searching. Don't flame them for not searching. Most new users don't even know they can search the forums for a topic.

Re: Alternative to a Dervish?
hate people who troll and leep on threads and scream SEARCH..
the dervish isnt that expensive if you buy it from like skatesonhaight with 20% coupon
full setup comes to like 230ish depending on wheels.
NS heist is a nice board and apex 37/34 are both nice but there always on back order soooo not a good choice ha

The NS Heist I can't seem to find in Aus, nor the Apex.
The Landy retails for a fair bit more than a Dervish too.
I guess I should just go with a Loaded board
You won't be disappointed if you end up with the Loaded. =]

Re: Alternative to a Dervish?
Wow, buying from the States, even with the $70 postage costs to Australia is still cheaper than buying locally!
Heist here I come!

I'd say intruder, apparently its a lil more surfy, whats your weight and height, the intrudere comes in more flexes than the dervish to i think. i might get an intruder soon, i alreday have a loaded pintail and that boards is sick
