Bushings?
Quick question that wants a quick answer. I currently have some bushings at my disposal and I want the find the best combo for pumping. I have stock yellow randals, white(73a) khiro barrell bottoms and same aluminum cone top, blue(85a) barell bottom and same cone top, black(95a) barell bottom same cone top. I would be running this goodness on 149mm tracker darts on a Loaded Pintail.
P.S. Don't recommend other bushings. Just going to use what I have.

hey, numbnuts. i used the search and there billions of threads where the words "pumping" and "bushings" come up and the ones i read werent helpful and i didnt feel like reading literally thousands up pages. i would do real life experimentation, but these bushings and trucks haven't arrived yet.
instead of dismissing a thread immediately because it looks like one you think you've seen before, why dont you try being helpful, or just dont reply at all.

seeing as you already have the bushings in your possession, I dont see how hard it would be to throw in your trucks and got out for some test spins.

Re: Bushings?
step 1: get your panties out of a twist.
step 2: i find that a harder bottom bushing with a slightly softer top has a better return to center, aka "better" for pumping.
step 3: experiment with said hard/soft idea till you find what works.

Re: Bushings?
nope not everyone gets flamed, you just ask stupid questions without searching or having common sense. No one can tell u what works best, its personal preference

seriously you guys, ive said like 3 times i used the search, and i was just wondering the rule of thumb when it comes to pumping bushings... not a stupid question.
its the same as "should i have tall, soft bushings for dh or hard barrells?"
just a newbie to ldp hoping to get help from fellow longboarders...

Re: Bushings?
Actually, there isn't a tremendous amount out there on this. Most of your pumping info can be gained at pavedwave.org
I'll give it a shot.
First, you've got to wedge/dewedge that sucker. Wedge the front and dewedge the back. To make life simple, use the soft Kiro 8 3/4 degree wedges. One up front and one back, or better yet two and two.
Make the front turny as hell, go double barrel white bushings (if you have two). Then in the back, go hard, two harder barrels. I guess you've got blue and black. Put the black, closer to the deck. If the front is too sloppy (or if you have only one white barrel), replace the white barrel farthest from the deck with a yellow randal. The aluminum inserts are pretty restrictive. I wouldn't us'em at all. Good luck.
Should work reasonably well. Trucks could be a bit narrower, and you could use a little more room over the front truck, but eh, try it and see if you like the zen of LDP. If you do, get a real setup with Bennet 5.0's/Tracker 129 RTS's.
Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors. You must try them all before finding the one you like the best.
