New boards Questions!!!
I just ordered a Comet FSM and was wondering what peoples Idea of a good setup would be for me. I'm a big dude but I've been carvey #### since I started. My favorite setup was an arbor fish pintail with seismic 180/45 degree plates and tunnel tarantula SRCs. #### got ran over though.
Heres what I was thinking for the FSM. I have a pair of 76mm Fly Wheels and was curious about the Original spring setup. I figure with the center set wheels the 250's would be a doable size. I've no idea how loose they feel so I dont know what springs to get but I am about 230 lbs and use the third lightest seismic springs comfortable. I've never slide/switched but I want to learn so I need a setup that can carve well enough for a beginner to learn to switch on. I got pads and gloves I jus need some feedback on how to set this bad boy up.
what does silverfish think?

Trust me on this.
best beginners setup?
Also where can I get the hybrid without buying two pairs of trucks?

trust mark on this. he didn't hit 50 rep power for nothing.
also, I see that you like unconventional trucks, but the FSM is made to pull crazy stunts at medium high speeds, where originals fall out of their element. also the truck width and turniness combined with flys might lead to instant wheelbite.

well I was lookin at the s10's for curing the wheelbite, pretty sure that's plenty of clearance. however after reading a lil more and taking mikes advise I ordered a set of the 80mm freeboard slashers to go on the deck, they coincidentally match the board (purple with joker green core) not that thats a priority but thought it was funny. Either way I always loved my wide ass tracker darts and liked them the best when I used an indy baseplate. So the thought of trying an equally wide indy hybrid is even more appealing than another spring truck build. Mike's gonna be seeing an order from a mr pillow pretty soon

Re: New boards Questions!!!
what I meant was that the cutouts on the fsm are designed for 180 trucks, the wider trucks could actually create wheelbite by hitting the outside edges of the cuts.
