Where is the light Switch?
Hey everyone, first post. After lurking heavily for months, I finally have a question that can't be answered by searching.
I'm in love with the Landyachtz Switch. It's exactly what I want in a board, and it's the most fun I've had on a skateboard. Problem is, she's kinda hefty. On my daily rounds, I end up carrying my board a lot, sometimes for several hours, and the extra weight on the Switch is killing me. I've spent lots of time picking through the internet, and can't find what I'm looking for.
I want a lightweight version of the Switch. Similar drop, concave, size, and overall shape but made with lighter materials. A full carbon board would probably be too expensive, but I'm willing to consider it. I'd prefer if it was exactly the same, but if it was a bit wider and/or a bit less concave, I'd be ok.
Can anyone tell me where I can get a board like this?

Rayen Nemisis the wood or carbon would be lighter.

Re: Where is the light Switch?
You could always talk to one of the small builders lurking around here to see if they could build you something.

Re: Where is the light Switch?
pay someone( a builder) to make it into a foam core. just pm some of the builders around here and i'm sure they'd do it.
or do it yourself.
send the person your Switch to cutout the insides and replace it with foam...
i don't know how much it'd cost, it would really depend on the person.
edit: and it's true, the switch is a godly board.

Re: Where is the light Switch?
So I spent some time looking through the Board Building section, and couldn't find anyone who successfully foam-cored a board. Found a few threads talking about how impractical it was though...
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also, the Nemesis is a nice board (rode one for ~1 hour), but it doesn't have nearly enough drop.

Re: Where is the light Switch?
Cut a drop-thru on a Nemesis. That would be sick. Like a mini Demonseed.

hell. no. those boards are fukin tanks. would not reccomend them for carrying around.
look at the rayne nemisis. don't bother getting the dee lite version because it's really not worth the extra money. the board is pretty light. it has a 1in drop too

many many people have successfully made boards into foam cores.
can anyone link me to those pics that guy did of the foam core evo and drop wedge (i think that was it).
he had pics of the entire process on facebook.
