    Default Pumping Bushings

I weigh 180 and a friend of mine weighs about 130. We're both looking for stuff for pumping, and wondering which shapes and durometers you guys would recommend for riders of our weight.

    Thanks.

EDIT: This wasn't me. I just changed it.

There is no best shape and duro.
A 125lb rider wouldn't benefit from a 92a duro stim shape, while a much heavier rider would. Does that make it the best?

also checkout pavedwave.org it is the mecca of pumping. or you get a khiro bushing kit and khiro wedge risers (or wedge rail kit if you got the cash). you can then mix and match and use leftover stuff for tuning up other boards.

if you stick to the khiro bushing kits, you can use the softer duros while ur buddy can use the harder ones. you probably can split up the risers too, but it would be a bit harder trying to dial in each of your boards to your liking as there are only two of each degree rail.

thats probably the cheapest, but best investment for you guys.

IMO i definitely prefer tall cone retro bushings for my front bennett (tall lime cone top and pink barrel bottom) I weigh 130lbs. the rear is a Skandal on a 35 degree plate dewedged with orange khiro barrel bottom and blue tracker barrel top. not the traditional setup, but it definitely works for me. the trick is just to try a bunch of stuff out, which is why the khiro kit is almost essential.

Also, remember to have fun while setting up your bushings. Go out to nice flat spot to skate. Bring a bag of bushings and a skate tool, too. Then try out different set ups until you find the magic one that's perfect for you and the way you ride. I've put a lot of miles on my ldp deck and I'm still trying different bushings from time to time. Remember, you can always go back to a winning combo if you don't like the change you made. Have fun!

I'm 150 and I like my venom cones or barrels for pumping. On the front i'm running 2 90a cones and the back i'm running a 90a cone and an 85a venom barrel. It works.

I like double tall cones for pumping. So far my favorites are Sabre X-Types (86a tall cones).
