Default Hey you! With the mini! Yeah that's right. The one pumping it.

    I hate you.

Jk jk Storytime! I traded for an 26" Arcane Mini a little while back and have never had the chance to set it up yet seeing as I didn't have any cash for Bennetts or Trackers (and they don't sell them here unfortunately). So today after school I was ridiculously bored and decided to take some trucks off my dancer so I could use the mounting hardware for my KS so I could use as a downhill board.

However, My Arcane leered at me in the corner of my peripherals, it's green paint taunting me, and me being the desperate man I am got my hands all over it's sleek and sexy body. Next thing I knew, I was sticking in hardware everywhere, slapped on a 1/2" Hard Riser and a 1/4" Soft Riser to prevent wheelbite and put on my Paris 180's, yes you heard me right, ONE-EIGHTIES on that 7.75" waist. Set up with a Venom 85a Barrel and a Khiro Orange Bushing whatever duro they are and put on some Orangatang In-heats. I wasn't expecting much, wheelbite city mostly, but to my fortunate surprise, I had lots of awesome room. I took it out for a test run and by dear god...

I LOVE PUMPING headed around in circles around my street never setting a foot down. This got me thinking if I could pump reasonably well with an off set-up (no wedges or bushing tweaking even), I thought of all the people who had some extra cash for Bennett, Skittle Bag quantities of bushings and the oh so overpriced rectangular pieces of wedged plastic and dream quality set-ups. I instantly became jealous of all of you. Even the ones with LDP boards.

Anyways, I'm stoked, plan to take my brothers flashbacks and invert them to make the wheels stick out a little less on the back and perhaps put some Sayshun Plasmas up front. And you're right, it is quite a work out. I'm bumping another dancer and a DH board just to get an LDP now. Pump away!

    Feed your addictions...
Pumping can become an addicting thing to do.
And it just keeps getting better as time goes on.
Slalom setups and dedicated LDP setups are
by far some of the most fun responsive things
    you'll ever ride.....
Keep at it, and have fun with it...
You should be especially jealous of all those
with LDP setups... They're the ones you should
    really be hating....
Those LDP people with their smug faces and
tight dialed in setups... They just make me so
mad at them, I just want to throw a rock under
    their front wheels....

Oh believe you me when I was first feebly attempting to pump months ago I knew I would be hooked once I had managed it. I just came back from trying again for two hours. I want to reach higher speeds I wish I could cut up another board I have but none of them would do.

That was my reaction the first time I stepped on my board after swapping Indy's for Randall's. Now regular trucks feel like the hangar is welded to the kingpin.

I seem to be satisfied with my current setups with pumping...though I'd be curious to try a dedicated LDP board. Right now, I'm just using some Randals and Paris's (Stock bushings) and seem to pump just fine...no long distances though.

really...i hate randals because i can never get them to turn 50 degree trucks... just feel weird, and anything below, weirder.

i can turn on a dime my bennetts, even on a 36 inch wheelbase. i have indy 215s on my dh because i like to have a bit of liveliness in my trucks.

try a wedged paris, that is fun to pump with. its the bushing seat.

That's interesting most people who try(they dont get far) and ride my board say it turns too much, and I have the 42 degree plates to boot. I can U-turn inside 1 parking space. From what I read on here tho I gather that bennets are as turny as they come so maybe going from randals to bennets would be the same night and day deal. Reguardless it goes to show how much of all this is subjective. nothing beats a test drive

Been playing around with set-ups. Contrary to popular belief, White khiros are not that useless I've got a barrel set up and two short cones coupled into an hour glass in the front. Very loosey goosey now but still not providing that twitch feeling I'm not using any washers as well. I also can't purchase the Khiro Angled Riser kits. $53 here.
