Hi guys,
I know it's all about experimenting but...
I have a nice carver (wb28"; 34" total length) which I was running on stock randal bushings (red ones) (the 180 trucks).
I had them fairly loose (not clunky loose).
yest I bought the bushing kit and started experimenting w it.
I ended up with orange in the front and red in the back (both barrel and cone).
I added a flat washer to the equation in order to even it out.
I put in a big washer for the barrel, 'cause the little one was kind of cutting into the bushing itself.
so, real question here is:
running on randal's; using khiro barrel/cone bushings. do you guys also put in extra washers? which ones and where to place them? (right now, I have the little washer, big washer and then the barrel bushing).
also, I really am tightening them up now and still get a lot of leverage. should I start looking into combining different colors for barrel and cones?
I've read somewhere what the top/bottom bushings are for (something about support the rider's weight and the other for turning)?
any advice is appreciated.
