    Default First Carving Board?

How does this look for a beginner carving set-up?
I would also like to do some mild downhilling.

    deck:
    http://landyachtz.com/D25.cfm?PID=32&place=1

    trucks: http://landyachtz.com/D27.cfm?PID=242
this is where i know the least about, the board i use now has sidewinders and i really
like them, so i am lost here, im also worried about wheelbite?

    wheels: http://landyachtz.com/D26.cfm?PID=96
i like these ones, but im kinda lost here too. i think the bigger the better?

    bearings: Bones Reds.

    any ideas?

Did you not get enough information on the first thread you made that was exactly like this?

    I'm just curious.
    NS Heist - Paris 180 - Gumballs
    S9 Goddess - Randal 180 - Raceforms
Home built BB Ceviche - Paris 150 - Stimulus

ಠ_ಠ Thats right, I'm watching your bitch ass.

as well as the first purchase guide or whatever,
and i though this was a better place to post my questions.

The deck, wheels, and bearings are fine, but Revenge trucks don't ride too nicely. Get Randal 180's and that will be a nice setup.

You should be fine without. However, get some 1/8 inch soft pads for shock absorbtion. If you like to run your trucks stupid loose, get some 1/4 risers though.

Probably not. 1/8 inch risers and 70mm wheels should be OK. Like i said before though, if you like to run your trucks stupid loose, get some 1/4 inch risers.

Wheel bite is a possibility but its a far away assumption. you might get it but i wouldnt worry too much about it. if your really worried about it then get a deck with cut outs.

Turn on. Tune in. Drop out.

if you want something that will probably get less wheelbite, try the pinner or totem. similar deck, just narrower in the back to reduce the nasty thing called wheelbite...

Not a fan of the deck. Or the trucks. Haven't ridden the wheels.

KrackedSkulls.com check out the M1 with the 70mm flashbacks, i get zero wheelbite, the decks are great for what your looking to do and the price is unbeatable. you could get the deck, randalls, bearings and wheels for around $50 less than what your looking at now, and thats with shipping.

Good luck with whatever you choose...

The board is fine. I would recommend different trucks. Paris or Randal II. Other than that its pretty good. I've never ridden the board, but it looks a lot like my gravity mini-carve.
