Lightbulb Flexdex Classic 29 Commuter Board

Hello, I'm currently pretty ready to buy a Flexdex Classic 29 for my daily commuting needs around my Central Pennsylvanian Small Town / College Campus. I'm currently using my room mate's sector 9 (31" - 35"?).

Amish buggies tear up our roads, our sidewalks are old and cracked / uneven. We have some pretty steep hills in town as well, I need to be able to commute through these conditions. I chose the flexdex c29 for durability and portability.

I need advice on the wheel size, I know a lot of people recommend 66mm Retro's for the board, but I would like to run larger wheels due to poor road conditions and sidewalks. Plus, the board comes with decent 70mm wheels included, I'd rather not have to pay the $16 upgrade fee for smaller wheels.

I plan to run the Tracker RTS/RTX 139mm trucks w/ 1/2" angled riser, and can't find any truck measurements on them. (I'm not absolutely sold on these trucks, so if you're a flexdex rider with a better suggestion let me know. Are they too aggressive for sidewalk riding and pedestrian weaving?).

I want to know if these trucks can handle a 70mm wheel without any chance wheel-bite on the flexdex running angled risers. Does the board flex contribute to chance of bite?

All advice is welcome, ready to purchase my board just need to know if I can get away with 70mm just fine.

Why don't you just get some Randal II 180's, 50deg. baseplate?

And you probably wont get wheelbite if you get the Retros.. 1/2" is alot, so even with a 70mm wheel, you probably WON'T get wheel bite.

I have a 1/4" riser with randal 180's and 70MM wheeels, noo probbleem

The biggest Randall's offered are the 150's.

    Sigh.
Buy GULLWINGS they're wide too xD

They're not the best, but they're wide as hell.

What's your reasoning behind getting as wide of trucks as possible, is it just for wheel clearance or is there another benefit for my commuting?

I'm not a fan of having the wheels stick out too far, the board is short (29") and I'll likely kick the wheels when pushing I think.

Why would you want to put 180mm trucks on a 29" board?

    150mm will be fine.
