Post your distance skate route!
I recently read the second article about Adam Colton, Aaron Enevoldsen, and Paul Kent's journey across South America in the latest CW and it reminded me of a time when my crew skated across our city.
I want to know about everyone else's distance skates! Plot your route on something like Google Maps, and post a picture of it here!

It's approximately 11.5 miles and it took us around 3 hours. We're about to do it again in a few weeks.

Re: Post your distance skate route!
about 8 miles round trip. two trails running along the mon river, mon. strip district is a shopping area and to get to it you have to cut through the heart of pissburgh. the start point is at the bottom of the map, the end is the other end of the line. catch a bus up the hill to home.

Re: Post your distance skate route!

Re: Post your distance skate route!
I used my Landyachtz Chinook with Bear 1052s and Orange BigZigs on the last one. I'll probably do the same this time around.

I'm looking at the Nemesis I just don't know what trucks (Bear's or Randal's) and wheels
(70 or 75) to throw on there. As far as your knee, I was in the same boat..and it's hard to push with the opposite foot or ride mongo!!!
Thanks for your input.
How will you set up your evo???

have randal 180s & gumballs on the scimitar the nemesis has randal 180s and otang 4 pres, evo has bear 852s, loose 10 degrees by flipping the hanger, and otangs in heat. gumballs are a cushy ride, otang 4 pres only ridden once so far and so far feel similar to the gumballs. need to get out more but its been raining almost everyday. oh yea, the evo was set up factory i think. wanted to try professional input for a change. didn't care for the bearings because they aren't recommended for sliding (speedy lunatic). easy enough to switch out.
hope some of this stuff will help you in your decision. as for the knee, been using a pain reliever for body aches. found out about it around 10 years ago. take two bars of flat soap, using ivory. can't use soap made in a curve. put the bars of soap under the top sheet of your bed, the sheet that covers the mattress, and leave them there. rest the part of the body that aches over the bars of soap. and somehow, no one knows why, the pain will go away. beats taken pills before bed. using the same bars of soap in the bed for at least 10 years. any ideas why this would take away pain?

You are the second person who has told me about the ivory soap. My sister was the first one and she swears by it. I'll have to look into that one!!!

Re: Post your distance skate route!

This is the first in hopefully a series of long distance longboarding adventures and explorations of our fair cities and beyond. 14.7 miles and totally friggin' fun!
There's a link on the pic to see our route in depth on Toporoute.com which I recommend everyone in this thread to check out!
Finders keepers, brah.

Re: Post your distance skate route!
Anyone know where that dude skated 250 miles in 24 hours? I'd like to see that route.
