    Default LDP or Slolam deck.

Hi. I have been longbording for over a year now on a Legendary Prototypes (demonix) and have learned quiet a few things on it wich includes pumping and so on. well now that I have to ride to school on quiet a longer distance and going between friends places and so on my drop thru demonix feels limiting since I cant wedge or dewedge it and improve my pumping ( the size doesnt feel to big its 39 inches long) but now I would like a smaller deck wich I could set up for pumping and Im not sure what would be a good candidate since I want something around 32-35 inches long and that would be a good pumping deck base. and here coems in LDP and slolam deck problem, whats the main difference between the two? and what decks should I look at?
I want to keep everything under 200$ wich would include
    Deck
Trucks ( I read that bennets (wich ones) good on the front and then tracker in the back is good set up)
    wedges pads etc
bushings ( I weigh about 200 what brand and duro I use yellow and green venoms and they work wonders but what are good bushings brand for the recomemded trucks?)
I would like to still use my otang's in heats and bearings that are on my legendary as they are in good condition and I might replace them later as needed. so that should save me about 70$ or so.

    Thanks
P.S I dont think I need a pro deck (carbon fiber foam core) unless it will give that much more of ease at pumping.

I just asked a question what the point of reading my sig....

Deck stolen 1 week after getting it...my long boarding life ruined...and now people at Legendary have fixed it!

LDP decks are a jacked-up, bigger version of slalom decks. Wheelbase on slalom usually in the 20-23" range, whereas LDP's in the 26--31" range, and the overall deck length follows that. Wheelbase determines deck length -- there can be lots of wasted nose or tail space that means nothing, it's the WB that counts. LDP decks give you bigger, sweeping pumps and carves. Shorter slalom-type wheelbases are arguably easier to learn on, but for longer distances are far more tiring because each pump is smaller-- lots more pumping required!

You want to go cheap then might want to check out the S9 trylam deck with a Bennett 5.0 in front and matching width Tracker in the rear. It's compact enough and if its still too long, take a hacksaw to the nose. Sounds like you've got the rest of the stuff.

Hmm I see...hmm I will probably want something thats inbetween....if there is such a thing otherwise is there any US retailer that caries fullbag decks I really like thier designs. And could you throw some slalom/LDP deck companies at me? that are good I dont mind paying 100$ for a deck if its good.

So far I looked at Galac and fullbag decks but would like to look at more even small builders.

sk8kings' bigger GS decks are reasonably priced

the s9 trylam is a killer deal considering the construction. flex and pop with the carbon-wood is not as much "in fashion" in slalom these days as most have moved to stiff decks and value the concave molding over flex. but for casual freeriding and pumping, flex is nice and the carbon helps the wood live a much longer life.
