    Arrow Spring Board 2010

    Hey guys!
Hows it goin? I'm a Canadian rider in Ontario looking for a fresh ride next season. I currently ride a Sector 9 Bamboo Pintail and even though i like the board a lot - i feel its time for a change.

I need some suggestions on boards, trucks, and wheels.

I want a board great for carving, but keep in mind its going to be my transportation all summer so it needs to have length.

Price isn't a factor right now, I simply want to find the perfect board for me.

My main reason for upgrading is that I want an efficient pumping board that can handle some downhill action - and potentially sliding.

What makes an effective pumping board?

well dude. for pumping the trucks are a really big factor.
    and bushings.
for pumping i like little boards but it all depends on the rider.

i would say go check out some of the boards over at landyachtz.com

When the snow goes away again we'll be out skating....you should come out to a session to try some boards and see what you enjoy. Between the group of us we have quite the diverse quiver, plus we're always looking for new people to skate with.

    I PM'd you some stuff

get a gravity kalai. its a really good board, you can do anything with it other than really intense downhill (35mph) but yea its a good board keep in mind the fatty flex is almost like the flex 1 dervish but a little heavier.

I am glad you recommended that board because I was scoping it out on the internet earlier and it looked like a sick board, but i wanted to hear personal reviews. I'm around 150 pounds so would I get a Lite flex??? And keep in mind I want this board for traveling and general cruising/pumping. Would i want to keep the stock 180mm R-II randal's? And where would I want to purchase after-market bushings? And most importantly: Can you slide on a board that is primarily meant for pumping/cruising distances? Or does it not really matter and you just need hard wheels...

How long has the BC website been out of comission?

Are there any good reliable Canadian retailers I should be aware of and are there are places near Ontario?

I currently ride a S9 Bamboo Pipeline with Gullwing Chargers - would these trucks be worth keeping or is a upgrade definitely in order.

What are the main differences between the Bennet, Randal, Bear trucks?

Alright so after some further research:

I think I want a board length of about 30-35"

I think I want to try Bennet Trucks

I want it for commuting and I want it to roll forever

Can you guys help me out with set ups for a decked out compact traveling board?
Since I plan on having the Bennet trucks and a shorter board - would it be better if I got a stiff or flexible board. Help me out here guys. I want the perfect board set up (WITH PROPER WEDGING/BUSHING ADVICE ETC.)
