what boards have a very tight turning radius, so that you can carve hard on steep hills? also i don't want to get spring powered trucks.

any help would be fantastic :P

Take a look at a Rayne Timeline. I have spent a good deal of time on both the Vanguard and the Timeline. My buddies and I all agree..... the Timeline (correctly outfitted) is carvier.

sweet, i'm looking at the timeline. now i know they suck at speed but are sidewinders at all decent? for reasonably slow carving.

Sidewinders are a gimmick.

Get a Tracker RTS/X combo, that way you can carve hard AND pump like a champ!

Or even better, a Bennett/RTS combo.

Also, you're downhill strategy shouldn't involve completely carving out you're speed, you'll expire sooner then expected. sooner or later you'll be going so fast, the very parallel lines turn to turns every 10 feet, then no more, and you fall because of an unstable board.
