How was your daily longboarding ride/s?

last night i met up with a couple guys in a bart parking garage with some of my friends, 6 levels of pure awesomeness. it was my first time ever doing so, and i must admit; im freakign doing it again.

Started out good checking out the parking lot around my new office. Ended badly hanging toes in the cutout on my FSM, doing an weird version of the splits and twisting the stoke out of both knees.

yesterday i was playing around, over the past few days i've mastered my boneless's,
so i do one but my foot gets stuck on the rail and i land and bam! sprained my knee.
not supposed to skate for the rest of the week, pfft going to skate some hills today.

oh gawd, I wish I could skate this weekend. I gotta hobble lock knee and go backwards up and down the stairs. Wife's stash of tramadol at least let me sit in the sun in the garage. I sanded and painted the mini FSM (which I'd planned on riding this weekend) and Fedex showed up with my Boomerang. That was my "skating" today. Guess tomorrow I'll get that mini mounted, shoot pics and maybe cut grip for a toecutter that's still hanging around naked.

That sucks, and it's probably uncool of me to say this or whatever, but I definitely advise waiting at least a week before you longboard again... I sprained my ankle a couple months ago, and was too impatient to wait before skating again, but now I seriously regret it. My ankle's all weak and stuff. So it sucks, but definitely rest up and give your knee some TLC! It'll definitely pay off in the long run.

umm from what i saw and heard he hit a fukking monstrous cat eye, got bucked, and slammed hard.

It was my turn to run the follow car so i stopped when i came up to him and asked if he was good. he promptly said no, go get the guys.

and the the rest is history

Pumped from 42nd Street along the Hudson River until I reached Battery Park.
Rode around the park about 4-5 times, getting low, carving hard, pumping, sliding, gathered up leaves with one hand, then throwing them in the air, smiling at people and people smiling back at me seeing how much of a good time I was having.
All the while listening to DCFC.
Amazing day.
Truly amazing.

Can't skate due to my last fail but can't leave stuff alone. Cut, prepped and applied bumpers to the new Demon, Boomerang and FSM mini. Then painted some glitter into the Manis cutout in the grip on the Demon and on top of the trucks.

don't baby ur knees old man. they rust up real fast and will need lots of WD 40 to get them loose again. just keep skating, wuss

uneventful past couple of skates, reg 3 to 4 miles to work. wearing knee pads all the time now and don't seem to be falling as much. looks like rain and snow coming in next week, most of the week too. gonna have to take the long way to work today. also found out a neme isn't a very good pumper or carver. no loss, its the best dh in the quiver
