Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Had a nice ride to class and back, although the lean in my superglider is getting more noticeable. I'm probably not gonna longboard much in the next few weekscause its finals and a bunch of other stuff. But, then I have winter break for 6 weeks! If I havent been able to at least somewhat learn cross-stepping by the end of those six weeks I am going to slit my wrists!

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
^^ what lean are you talking about Sk8r? Maybe bushing blowout that could be remedied in your upcoming package.
Mention wrists again and I'm gonna give you a wedgie so good, you won't have to floss for a week!

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Lol, no wedgie please!!
The lean is sometimes when I am pushing the board it starts to kind of lean to the outside. I dont think its how I'm pushing. It may be a bushing problem. But then again sometimes its noticeable sometims it isnt, lol its probably me.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Try a set of eliminators on the board side. That should make the deck more stable for pushing. You may want to use step softer bushing than you would normally use on the board side though. If you do go eliminators, keep in mind you need a washer behind it or it will lean like craaaazy (which maybe you want).

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I think that's silly as long as there weren't a lot of people around and you weren't jumping on stuff. My work has an office in DC and I've always thought about bringing my board when I have to go down there for work, but I guess I shouldn't.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
This morning was 25 degrees on way to work, stiff after getting off the train, in a car with no heat this morning, still felt great to get the Spudy out to ride very lucky this year we aren't having rain daily here, love to ride the streets in the early morning when its just me and the tunes, hoping at lunch that the temp gets above freezing though. Taking the Gnome out on some new wheels (Eastside 70mm78a). still haven't found a wheel I like on it, but the experimentation is always fun.

I'm trying to get at least a 5 mile route a day to get my stamina up and to get a little exercise because I always feel better afterwards.

Watch out for ice. I went out this morning around 9 and hit some black ice and busted my knee on the curb. It is soooo cold.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
it was weird.
i was taking a pumping lap around my neighborhood. and somehow my front foot
just slipped off of my board, and i flew off my board.
now i have 2 scraped knees, and a little scrape on my elbow.
besides that i had a good lap.
