Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
First sunny day in awhile, went to school with my slide gloves for some fun. Practice drifting at low speed with my LY pocketknife. "Drift", not exactly a drift, out a corner to a slight hill. Sees car at the bottom intersection. Say oh ####, decide to turn into town house alley. Discover alley have a HUGE #*$# bum, decide to continue straight. See another car, freak out. Attempt to turn into alley. Lost control... crashed... Lesson? ADD kills is a good thing i just came out with a few scratches lol.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Skated around my GF's neighborhood today. Tried some DH and got massive wobbles on my 37". Not surprising since I had to throw some extra home-made 1/4" risers on it to eliminate wheel bite, but still irritating.
So I figured, "Well, if I can't speed down hills, then I'm going to have to learn to take them slow." I can't carve very well to reduce speed with the bushings that came on my Gullwings, so I made it my goal for the day to learn to do standing powerslides. Didn't have too much luck there, (my 75mm tangs don't slide very easilly, especially with an inch of riser) but I accidentally learned to pump instead. Pretty stoked. Being able to self-propel is really cool.
Overall, a very fun day. Got laughed at by some kids when I tried to slide over some sand and pushed the back of my board straight out from under myself though. Also, strawberry bubble tea is the only way to go. Delicious.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Today, my dad flipped on me for longboarding in the streets! Isn't that the point? I feel like the sidewalks, especially in Queens, Ny, are way more dangerous than the streets because of all the cracks and what not.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
The weather was pretty nice today and I was itching to take my new board for a roll (Globe Continental 44in w/ Randall 180s and Otang InHeats), ended up following some bike paths around the inner-city area and ended up doing a 9km/5.5mile round trip. I got to dodge pedestrians on footpaths, cars and bikes on the sidestreets and carve up some of the newly paved paths. All in all it was a pretty good day...

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
today was a righteous day, i woke up had some waffles, and went out skating.
I decided to go do some parking garages,
it turns out one of the garages i went to was for court parking only....
so i got busted by the cops, they kicked me out and sent me on my way.
so i decided to go get some food, i decided to go to carls jr. But i was lazy so i went through the drive thru, haha the peeps behind me got all pissed off cause i was still on my board. so i got up to the window and got my grilled cheese burger. (amazing stuff)
After i finished my food i went to skate up the mall, so i was tearing it up in the parking lot for a couple hours, when the security guard came out and told me im not allowed to skate there.
so i yelled at him that if he could catch me then i would leave, i realized that was a mistake cause he took off after me.
i got scared and left, haha, then i came home and here i am now.
Amazing
Respect to be respected.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I went skating with a few friends on a fairly big hill. There were 4 of us and only one of my other friends was realy that good. It was realy good fun until one of my friends who doesnt longboard much fell at the bottom of the hill and now he has a compound fracture in his right wrist D:

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I went out at 4.30 in the morning piss drunk and tried to do a standy. Left my pride in between my hip and the 10 feet of asphalt I slid on.

Pushed for 15 miles today. My body feels like it's in shock. I saw tons of hot chicks everywhere. Got to ride with my parents, and daughter too. It was a great day.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Today I hit up the UBC Campus and found some sweeeeeet hills. I was going around 30 mph then tried to do a speed check but instead landed on my knees and hands and slid for a couple feet.
