Today was badass, found an awesome hill really close to my work in Boulder and rode it a few times with my buddy luke when I got off work...he happen to be in Boulder for a video class project. Such a killer hill!! We managed to snap a pretty good picture aswell.
    Good times!!

They led you to drink from their fountain spouting lies.
And I'd slay the horrible beast they commissioned
To steer me away from my mission to your eyes.
And I'd stand there, like a soldier, with my foot upon his chest,
With my grin spread, and my arms out, in my bloodstained Sunday's best,

yeah shaggy. helmets, dude. they're cheap. your dome ain't.

I rode around with my roommate from about 1245 to 4 last night... it had rained during the night and then the roads dried up but the city stayed real foggy and moist. worked on our sliding, I started nailing pendys, then we hit up a double-hairpinned parking lot (one on each side, a left and a right, with stairs back up!) and then found a longer route down the hill that sits in our back yard. definitely a good night... it's finally weather where I can wear jeans and a tshirt and be WARM!
the skate season has descended upon Boston! Now if only it'd stay this way...

visited my Grandmother, skated with my dog along the beach, picked up new webbing for slacklining, tried it out while the dog watched and laughed, skated a bit more and then went home...it got cold and I decided that I'd rather go home than freeze

Skated on the golf course at UNCG (my school), which isn't really legal, but the hills on campus aren't nearly as fun... Will post a vid later.

rode the park last night for the first time on a longboard

let's just say i have much more respect for the guys who are good at it.
i ended up with a swollen ankle, bruised hip, and bruise/bloodied elbow. good times, haha.

also worked on stand up slides yesterday, ate a fair amount of #### but it was pretty fun.

did some downhill carving on campus today. Theres a fabulous V-shaped drop on a pretty smooth and not-oftenly-traveled roadway. Broke in my new board, and got a feel for the loose trucks (which I need to tighten if i wanna keep going downhill more often, lol). Pretty crummy weather-wise. mid 50s and cloudy all day. Got in about 2 miles total.

    Today wasn't too bad.
Cruised down to the mall and bought a blizzard from Dairy Queen, and then around 6:30 I went for a cruise on this nice, long mellow hill about 30 seconds away from my house, and the road was only paved ~7 months ago. Two cute girls said "Sweet board" as well.
Overall, very relaxed, and very good.

Not bad mainly cruising with some of my friends all day. So more or less the same thing I have been doing all vacation. So nothing really happens until I decide to go home. The trick here was that I was halfway up a small hill when i decided to go home (back down the hill) instead of going to a restaurant on the other side of the hill. So instead of hoping off my board and turning it around I just go down the hill backwards. Long story short I ate #### and now my left arm is ripped up a bit.

Found an amazing neighborhood near my campus today. square grid of Wide open empty streets down a gentle slope. Carved up and down for a good hour and a half, before riding down the main street into the city and nearly knocking over a biker coming around a corner. I ended up carving hard to the heelside to the point that my wheel bit and I nearly ate ####. Luckily I was only going about 10mph and ran it out. The douche was on the wrong side of the street anyway ):<
