At home my dog chases the longboard and barks fervently at it like it were some demon with wheels.

Finally, I was able to pull off a 180 fs powerslide!

I've been trying for months to do it using Gumballs and I just couldn't get them.

Just tonight though, I decided to break in my Pink Powerballs on my Komodo deck, and WHAM, 180 powerslide after several tries.

    Awesome feeling.

(riding switch never felt so great!)

I cruised around all day, working on my Walk the Plank and Lookbacks. As it got dark I headed back to my street and messed around with a friend, doing pivot 180s to sitting down and buttboarding. good fun. Then i decided to head inside and start posting on the Fish for once, I've lurked for long enough.

Skated 30 miles today in about 2 hours.. Longest skate I've ever done at one time.
Skated 15 miles away, bought some water.. and then skated back.
By the time I got to where I was going, I was feeling like I couldn't get going too much farther, but I managed to get into a zone, and just keep on pushing until I was home again.
I need a new idea for a sig.

Took my unused HyperCarve to my younger brother showed him the basics of how to foot brake. We skated a bit in his neighborhood then I skated a couple of miles around my old home town before having my dad's 75th birthday dinner

Spent my day in the Skatepark. Go there early really worked it.

Got the nerve to drop-in on the deep end of one of the bowls. Once I
made it, I went right back and did it 10 more times in a row! Only fell
    once.

Later on with the help of some of the better skaters, actual learned to Ollie!
Nothing big at all, but popped 3 or 4 of em.

These things just do not come easy at an older age, but the
    progress is rewarding. 8)

Bombed a couple hills with my friend today. The first one was f'ing killer, we just stumbled on it, parked and hit it. It was a lot steeper than it looked and I'm fairly sure I broke 40 on it thanks to a nice tailwind. Then we went a couple blocks over and found what looked like a nice little run. Near the bottom I realized I had too much speed to make the sharp right hander, so I just slid to a stop. Then I wondered how my friend was going to stop without slide gloves. He started turning into the corner, then just aimed for the curb and jumped off his board. Landed with a loud thud on the dirt, it was a pretty brutal bail. We had enough of testing our luck and split. I want to hit the first hill from the top, but I want to get some better safety gear first.

    Had a similiar experience today..
Just kept going up a road, and it was scary, scary, scary coming back down.. Really need to get some good safety gear if I'm going to do that again..
I'll try to get some good pics of the roads I was hitting later..

F***ing awesome. i was heading home and i was on the left sidewalk, which sucks, of a very busy street. I was trying to beat the red light at one of the few intersections on the street but i wasn't fast enough and so i couldnt turn right to cross to get to the street (the next one over parallel to this one) i usually take. so i decided i would explore a few other streets on the way home. I took a left at the intersection and i arrived on a 2 mile strip of heaven: an empty street with fresh unblemished asphalt with nice steep hills. I was pretty excited, considering i live in the city where there r no hills like these. So i started to go down a mellow slope, which eventually transitioned into a small valley of 2 short steep hills. At that point as i started to accelerate, i realized that i probably shouldnt be doing this without a helmet, pads, sliding gloves, or with a cast on my left arm. oh well, too late. I started to reach about 30 mph, more or less, and i started to get into the early stage of speed wobbles. I thought that i was pretty much ####ed and i thought to myself: relax relax ride it out ride it out relax. After a few seconds that seemed like 5 minutes of battle the death wobbles. I finally reached the end and i was ####### psyched.

o and i learned how to pump

Yesterday I bit the bullet and ordered a Komodo, bigzigs, pleasure tools and spacers from LBL.

Now I have got to freeze myself until it arrives.

    Sounds like a fun ride.
You'll have to keep us posted on what you think about it, haven't seen terribly many reviews on it yet.
I may be getting an LBL Walkabout shortly.... !

Went to school, bombed a minor sidewalk hill, hit a little patch of water, and my board flew out from under me. Sprained my wrist and feels like I broke my ass. I'm an idiot.
