Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Put some new wheels and risers on one of my boards. Announced proudly that wheelbite was impossible with my new setup. Skated about 7 inches. Wheel-bit. Scraped the hell out of my elbow. Bled like crazy. I had to go inside to clean up so I wouldn't ruin my clothes. My elbow pads were 2 feet away from me on the curb the whole time.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Sunny and 60 here today and our snow is melting. Skated my new Carbon Belly Carver and lambchop on some hills in the canyons. Riding Paris' and riding the Caliber 44's is like night and day. But I like them both- just very different. Why more people don't get a belly carver instead of racer- I don't know but it was super fun on the Paris'- very lively carving (also have some Venom SHR bushings in) while the lambchop with calibers feels like an impenetrable lowrider tank- great for going fast. I'm going to have to get a full face helmet soon- I can see that- so much fun.

Skated the small neighborhood hill for bit. Took a train ride for some ice cream and skated some fun little driveways/sidewalks on the way over.

Great ride! Met a bunch of people, tons of fun shredding a local hill. Nothing like meeting a solid crew and being made to feel welcome

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Our crew here in the Nashville area had a great safety and slide clinic yesterday. 10-15 people showed up (we even had some guys come up from Memphis) and we all skated some rad hills together. I took a pretty nasty fall and ended up with a bunch of road rash, but the stoke is so high right now I couldn't care less.
Too many boards. Still love my Hightailer.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
New record of pushing 5.8 miles yesterday. Got dropped off at a hill, got kicked out about 30 minutes later. Ride wasn't answering phone, and we had to push back lol. Oh, it was also about 80 or 85 degrees outside. So it did suck, but riding and talking with fellow boarders is always cool.

Just got back from some sliding practice at a steeper hill than I normally go to, my normal hill gets me to almost 25 this one is about 32. Attempted some slides at those speeds, did a few toe side pre drifts, Coleman 180s and Coleman shut downs, and some hd ts shut downs as well, I couldn't do any of those at this speed last year so 4th ride this season and already making some improvements. Although I did also try a 180 at about 20mph (scrubbed of speed with carves on a side road on the hill) but as I was starting it I hit a patch of dirt/ gravel I didn't see and took a digger. Cut up my right forearm, shoulder, hip, and thigh. Stings a bit, but worth it. All around good day!

Spectacular day skating today. the weather was great, the pavement was clean and I have finally gotten the setup on my Hula perfect. I was really pushing my limits today and yet I never felt out of control....

Today I was going down a bigass hill then a wild hailstorm appeared....going down a hill being hit by hail and barely able to see makes you a boss but a cold soaking one at that

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Didn't get to go out until nighttime and it was really dark out, so I went to a familiar hill with really smooth pavement and no traffic. It was an awesome sensation, zooming into the dark so smoothly and silently. Carved it a couple of times, bombed it a couple of times. Decided that it wasn't really a bombing hill, so I carved some more. It felt so cool!

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Had my first tries at a kicker. The kicker was meh, because its janky and kicks up a little too steep at the end but otherwise it was alright. Landed a couple in the grass and almost landed one on pavement with my old school board. Too many close calls with credit carding though.
