Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Today was my first full day on my longboard.
I bought a Dervish yesterday as my first board and I'm loving it.
Took it out for maybe an hour or so, made a run to the store and practiced my carving skills.
Then it started to rain for a while. Then I made my way out to a friend's house and we went down some nice easy slopes in the rain.
which followed with a crazy session of drying out bearings and all other metal objects on our boards.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Had a good long day of skating in 90*F. My friend and I skated to the school and retrieved my hackysack from the roof. Then we checked the door and it was unlocked so we went in the school. We skated the halls for a while but then an alarm went off so we booked it. Then skated to the center of town and just chilled and skated for the rest of the day.

Me and my boarding buddy went to an awsome park with 2 bowls and a snake run. It was SiCK! 3 hours of pure mayhem. Then a bunch of BMX'ers showed up and the day ended shortly...

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Yesterday after going five miles into town I was skating with a friend, at a garage. It had 8 floors, or two buildings with 4 each and connected. So we rode there for a while, then there was a big parking lot with new asphalt .After the garage, we kinda rode fast down through town. Helsingborg is like a big hill with a flat area on top and on the bottom. We were on top. So anyway we were kinda footbraking and riding since I'm riding my dervish and my gumballs are CONING, they slide like ice. This drunk chick tries to freaking hug me while I skate down into town, so I tried to avoid her she tried the opposite and my shoulder smashed into hers, though it was fine.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
i finally got to come down south of the twin cities last night and see my crew! we went out for a nice relaxed sesh in my buddy's neighborhood...did a little buttboarding, haha, and carved out this nice hill that goes down to his house. even got passed by a cop, who then stopped up ahead of us and just sat there, but he didn't even say hi so that was all good! then some more guys joined us and we went to this crazy big hill, carved down part of it then just bombed it out! prolly a 30-40 mph hill. it was so sweet. then we just kinda dinked around in cub's parking lot, buttboarded some more, and headed home. great night.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Just got back from a fun session with my friend, got him to actually do some hills and then did some nice parking garage runs, and finished up with me getting to 34 Mph, new personal best. So stoked right now.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I'm pretty excited...went to a parking garage tonight and practiced some slides. I haven't learned all my slide vocabulary, but I think I was pretty much doing a safety slide/speed check, but I did slide around a corner a couple times! Unfortunately the corian samples on my homemade gloves all fell off, haha. I'll have to fix them tomorrow somehow.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I had a satisfying ride today...took the Kahuna for a smooth ride, gave the Flexdex a quick spin in the parking lot, and lastly, tested out my new 24 inch mini...I can now pump, I feel like I've made quite an accomplishment...pumped down the street, did a few circles waiting for a car to pull out, and pumped back up. Quite a workout, but was well worth it. I knew I was doing things right when I found myself accelerating down the street as opposed to loosing speed down the street. (Yes, I'm that excited...lol...)

I HATE security at parking garages. They were just waiting at the bottom to bust me and my buddy on our first ride and now they have our info and we are kicked out for good.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I love the fact school is out....I set a 40 cone course in the high school parking lot and skated it for 2 hours with a friend, the fact that I set the course too tight meant that we had to work a bit hard. Just about the time we stared to get a rhythm a huge lightning bolt cracked the sky and we decided it was time to go in....sigh...well I need a shorter wheelbase on my hybrid slalom board

Lol Gecko, I was on rockytop road today in Hamden, and I bet I saw the same bolt, and went on in too.
