Ugh, the first two times down a local parking garage were good, but then a cop drove up and asked us to leave. That's the third time in the last few days.

Last night at about 10:30PM I decided that my summer was too damn boring.
I skated a few miles to the train.. Met up with some friends at the station and evaded police because of the curfew for a few hours.

    Good stuff.

Stayed up all night on d-rugs then my friend stole his mom's car and we did some dh runs in the fog at 5:30 am and I almost hit a deer! Then, couple shots later he did a drift into a moped trying to stop.

I had a good skate after school, only for about an hour, but got my cross stepping a little smoother and learnt to pressure spin, way easier than i thought it would be. I havnt done any sliding recently (im pretty new at it, can just do sit down 180s) cause my wheels were just getting wasted, i gave it a go today and i was total crap again, but oh well.

I have a story that is kind of funny.

I was starting a fire for a bonfire last night and realized that I was missing a key element to bonfires-- s'more materials. So I go downstairs, nothing in the fridge, then look at my watch and see its 7:55 PM. The party store around the corner closes at 8:00. So I sprint out the door, tell my 2 friends to make sure the house doesn't burn down and kick like a muv. I get there, and all they have are shmallows. And they actually close at 9:00.

So then I had a nice straight shot ride from the party store on a slide decline to Rite-Aid. I got the stuff and had my other friend drive me home.

And according to MapMyRide it's ~1.2 miles and goes from 640ft to 568ft, and it took me about 7 minutes therefore ~10mph if my stoicheometry is correct.

    HERE'S A GOOD ONE

I was skating home from my haircut today. I took a main road sidewalk to, but fro I decided to take some back side streets. I'm going down the street, and then I see where 2 pieces of cement come together (for expansion and stuff) and there's a major chunk missing. Well one of my wheels gets hung up (naturally) and I fly off forwards, do a frontflip-roll, and meanwhile my board is rolling next to me full speed still so I leap up from my flip and land on the board and kept going.

    WTF

    It was epic.

I did the exact same thing about three weeks ago. A biker was going past me as it happened, and he looked at me like I was superhuman.

I had a couple rides today. This morning I went for a 3 mile round trip to Lucky to get my change for the year into cash. I got more than halfway to a fullface with it.

Then a couple buddies and I went to a longboard store and bought stuff. My friend got some Randals for his S9 Goddess, and they're way better than the Gullwing Missions that broke.

I came back and I had a new deck waiting for me, a GFH Native. I put the hardware on it and that thing is freakin awesome. We tried to go up to the hills but half way there my randal friend pulled a tendon or something in his leg so we had to take it slow back home. All this in 109* weather.

so i met a friend, whom ive never skated with before and whom i know has a board,

so we cruise around the area and do some minor hills, stopped at the park to get drinks

then bam the rain hit us hard! no place to go so we decided to just skate since there was a bike path that has some DH, kinda turned into an impromptu slide session.. got drenched in the rain, so did my board

i for one dont like to skate in the rain since i know the bearings are going to rust... but hey it was fun! was it worth it? ill have to check the bearings when they dry

Well, me and 2 friends were hitting up the local 5 story parking garage an usally the cops are pretty chill. After about a half an hour, a bike cop comes up to me and 1 of my friends. The other was down 1 floor filming. They walked us down to the bottom and took our names down. He said that about 2 weeks ago, some dick ran into a nice car while the driver was still in it. The longboarder wouldn't do a thing about it, and since there were no signs and the cops don't enforce the "No Skateboarding" law, the driver couldn't sue the boarder or the city. So now they are giving warnings this week to set and example and are going to start giving tickets next week. And get this; THE COP WAS A LONGBOARDER!
