just took the new evo on an 8 mile ride. that wasnt a great idea but it was still fun. i hate the way people look at us and just assume we're idiots or whatever. i was on this nice downhill, nothing special, straight shot on the way home and i was having a great time, had my g-bag (from osiris, its a backpack that i plug my ipod into), a monster and was dancing to "what i got" but sublime and this guy in a truck pulled up next to me, looked at me in disgust shaking his head and then floored it and sped away. okay, maybe i shouldnt have been in the street but on this particular street i have no problem keeping up with traffic (40ish) and its a straight shot so i dont need to be that careful really. but seriously... come on. why hate on us for everything?

good ride today though. just tiring.

the other day, parents, 6 year old sister and i went down to the toronto water front on the path. They were on their bikes and i was cruising, very very very fun ups and down, some nice turns and what not. At one point, i slowed down to go as fast as my sister and i went low and grabbed underneath her seat, she pulled me for a while and just when i got back up after about half a kilometre, we were going through a parking intersection separated from the path by 3 poles on either die of the road, she nailed one of the poles
i could stop laughing but thank goodness she was ok.

Was carving back and forth allover the road, biker (the gay ones with the tight shorts) looked at me and said something but I didn't hear.

did a 25km tour in 2 hours. scouted for hills and rode a couple i already knew. was really fun, but i have to drink water when doing stuff like this. when i came home i was destroyed... btw, rode alone...im the only one of my friends who takes skating as serious as i do.

The last two days ive been skating ive had heaps angry people and near misses. Apparently im a ####### idiot should get off the road, a crazy dog ran out at me and its owner shouted something hysterically,a car braked right in front of me for no reason and with no space to pass it i had to loose a lot of shoe. And just then when i was heading home douche bag in a purple ute swerved to the wrong side of the road and tried to cut me off so i would've gone in to a parked car, i made it past though, only just missing him, i have no idea what was wrong with that guy.

Although i have been having heaps of fun, two kickflippers who couldnt kickflip came to the spot i was skating and were trying to skate. i carved fast down the hill and up a bank then did a mean drop knee turn right between them, they left

The past two days have included two sudden stops due to inattentive drivers.

And whats the deal with dogs? Especially small dogs. They do not like longboards...

small dogs suck i got one but they just want too ride my big dogs like to pull..... curb or chiwawa............chiwawa you will win or he will move

every dog I have ridden by has at least barked and many have chased me

I just moved to a new town last month so all of my sessions have been awesome due to the new terrain factor. I love driving or surfin around looking for new paved waves. Yesterday I did a a big circle around my area that was about 5 miles and went through woods and past farms with horses and stuff....it was right on. I almost bit it bad on a steep hill but got out of it o.k. I'm gonna wear a helmet next time I do a hill like that.

I finally got my evo back from the police yesterday so I went out and skated some mild dh for the first time in a while. Hit a few local runs in the 35-45 mph range for about 2 hours, it felt soooo good to be going fast again.

Took the Arbor Pintail around town for a while with a good buddy of mine. We got some footage and scoped out some hills and skate areas. Decided it would be fun to bomb the steepest most unforgiving hill in Huntington Beach, Edwards. Wish I would've tightened my trucks first. I was almost to the bottom when the wobbles hit, threw me right off my board and (luckily) into the dirt. Fun though. Gotta hit it again late at night so I can carve the street instead of just flying down the sidewalk.

took the evo its first downhill run today... damn. the flywheels break loose way too easily. i thought i dailed them in on the parking garage but apparently i didnt. now i have road rash all over my left arm/shoulder. damn it was ugly. and i cracked my dome on the ground. luckily i had my helmet on. im actually more bummed that i screwed up the paint on the back of my gold/black giro remedy than all the road rash haha. man that was a beautiful helmet and that was its first time going down.
