Today was good, saw some friends i skate with so i went and grabbed my board and went off with them, they showed me a new spot that looked nice for a downhill board, gonna have to try that out later, came home had the gf over and tried to teach her how to longboard, i accomplished getting her onto the board and pushing her around a parking lot and she even was going by herself for a bit, riding down the block to my house we both hoped on the flex 1 vanny and longboarded down, might have not been the smartest thing for our health and the boards but it sure was fun. Good day.

i hit the new poway hill with my son, his buddy and a local today. this hill faces north / north west and runs almost a mile long. 8/10's . the top first 200 yards is a slight S turn. in fact the top section is the fastest where speeds up to 40 mph can be reached. Then it flattens out to about a half-a-mile of 20-25mph speeds on pretty much sweet asphalt emptying in a cul-de-sac where spectacular slides and cranking turns are possible to stop.

when i left the beach area it was gloomy but by the time i made it to poway, it was sunny, cool with no wind. we made 8 runs in 90 minutes. so in 90 minutes we almost went 10 miles downhill. having a pull up car is important .. my legs were noodled by the 4th run. good thing we had a rotation going.

all in all, us southern californians had a kick ass time!

The lady, my friend and i hit up UNM garage tonight. Perfect, almost...
No cops, 5 levels of smooth heaven, for an hour and a half. Hit up Canada Street a bit before that. Great slope, almost perfect pavement...

Almost... I feel like ####. What a trooper though!
Lady friend. 3rd to last run fell. Hurt her wrist and belly button. (got it pearced yesterday)
Said she was fine even after i checked it out. (i thought it was fractured.) Two runs later, the dreaded last run, she fell again. I think she was psyked out. Supermaned that ####. Somehow bruised her knee. Got home, wrapped that #### with ace bandages, took her home. Her mom threw a bitch fit. Taking her to the doc tomorrow...

But I got a tree frog... A green tree frog to be exact... In the Brown Phase, lol.

A couple nights ago me and my roommate were riding around and we met another longboarder in our town (probably the only other kid with one). So we all decided to bomb some hills around campus and as we were going down a big one with a sick turn at the bottom a car was coming the opposite direction so we had to make the turn real sharp. I almost got the wobbs as i was getting on it to turn but I stayed in my lane as the car was honking at me. Really though, if she would have just kept driving I could have taken both lanes, whatever, I made it. It was a ballin run too, just a scary blind turn at the end

so far i took 4 runs at 2 locations, all walking back up the hill.

later tonight having a big cruise, hoping for 6 to 8 people to head out and cruise around town. should be fun times.

I didn't have much time before work today, but I managed to squeeze in a quick ride around the 'hood. I get the weirdest looks in my neighborhood, because nobody here knows what a longboard is.

Today was a good ride. I'm finally starting to get pumping under control. But now I'm sore in places that I didn't know I had muscles in...

Yesterdays ride was sick! Around 5:00 pm (rush hour ) Found a new DH line, brand new pavement, curvy, gradual and steep sections, and it goes about 10 city blocks. The walk back sucked though, and it was a little busy as far as cars go. My brother and I hit it up about 4 times, after that my legs were shot. Then we went to this little spot that has a very steep incline and a hill that goes back up about the same size. Like a huge vert made out of concrete, the bottom was sketchy though. It just rained here and washed all the gravel and loose sh!t to the middle of the two hills. All in all, good day... no diggers.

Covered about 4 miles in 30 minutes while it was 100°... some girlies whistled at me while I was dodging rocks and riding on the apex of the curb. That's some tricky #### to pull off... Thinking about carving up the half bowl in the new park they're building tomorrow evening... It's going to be a long week because I just ordered some o'tangs

padron my spelling i am tired and inebriated had a lovely barbeque today and then watched the twins beat the chi cox, and had quite a few beers ofver the course of that time. funny how you can be so much mroe relaxd riding your board once you've had a few in your system and you're more or less fearless. i had a great cruise to end the night otnihght and pulled off some fun slides. 'm really gettin to love sliding...

My reverse switch pumping is getting way better. It's not that hard once you put your mind to it. Give it a shot. Much easier than consistent ollie 360 kick flips

My dog pushes around on my skateboard, he won't go on the flexy boards though.

last night was really cool. was out aroun 7 or so, a big thunderstorm was passing by town. but no rain, just a killer view of the lightning and the sound of thunder. also figured out how to pump, not just the front wiggle, but the whole body arms swinging, board moving pump. now just to perfect it. awesome day.

My ride yesterday sucked... I have a bad ankle from an old BMX injury that i never got checked out, and i think it healed wrong. Anyway, some days it will just crap out on me and hurt like hell. I got two DH runs in before i just couldn't walk back up the hill. Pushing hurt more than walking so i was screwed. Wen't home and drank my pain away.

Nailed a big-ass concrete lip that destructinated one of my Strikers. Took a big ass gouge out of the outside lip and started some nice chunking on the inside. Fortunately the FedEx guy usually gets to my house pretty early... can't wait for those In Heats...

Today was freaking hot. It's around 105 where I was, 115 or more above the asphalt. I got in 3 good carving runs down a hill by my old high school before I felt the heat starting to get to me.

Good news in I'm starting to get my stand-up slides down. So good day
