Very good, found a nice shady stretch of ~3 miles. After the first mile, there were no cars, so the road was mine. My carving got a lot better and so did my pumping.

Freakin' Sweet! Ankle was wayyyy better today, went out at about 5:30 pm and hit the hills. Something about bombing a hill with cars around makes it a little more fun. But, the best part of my ride yesterday... something finally clicked as far as pumping goes. I've been at it for a little while and i've been trying to get better, but yesterday i pumped all the way up a pretty decent grade hill. I was SO STOKED! Theres really nothing to describe just dancing on your board and gaining speed uphill.... people were looking at me like, "Whaaaaattt???" Awesome ride.

Today's was absolutely amazing. I woke up on my day off, decided to skate since I didn't have work and went out. I brought my iPod and bumped some M.I.A. and some Radio Citizen and hit up some new mellow hills I've been wanting to try out. They ended up being great. Steep enough to keep going without pushing but mellow enough to be able to comfortably dance. I'd go up rainbow driveways and come out the other sides, and I'd rip some heelside drifts onto driveways; I honestly felt like I was surfing. It was awesome. I've never been able to standup drift and now I'm getting more comfortable with it. I also managed to chop the wood around a whole cul de sac, great fun. I also worked on no handed turns at speed because I couldn't find my slide gloves. Heelside no handers = steezy fosheezy.

first time out today in a while. loosened up the trucks on the evo and tried to figure out how to pump it. the guy i got it from said he used it for pumping not downhill and could get it going pretty fast so i wanted to try. i felt stupid because i couldnt get it down and it looked so easy. so yeah maybe im just stupid. i started getting it towards the end but then some friends called and wanted to hang out so i went with them. all they did was bag on me though. i should have kept skating. it was super chill. just me, in a parking garage, with my ipod. not even my backpack, just had the headphones goin on. red hot chilli peppers have some really good chill songs and it made skating great. so all in all, it was a good first outing after a few weeks. just wish it could have been longer.

Got some great quality riding time in tonight, just cruising...but 4 miles-worth of it, 2 laps around my neighborhood (3.5 laps = 1 mile). My feet are so tired, remind me not to wear slip-ons when riding that long of a session. My friend was cruising on her beach cruiser bike so I figured I'd ride some laps on my Kahuna Hydro, even rode past an undercover cop coming down the street.

two hours of nearly uninterrupted time at the skatepark...I even got to tell some woman that she couldn't dump her BMX kids at the park for the day...my first park session since February when I sprained my wrist. I found all sorts of lines that I've never seen before...I guess taking time off was good for me

One of the nicest days this summer in Jersey. The wifey and I bombed some local hills. She hit her fastest speed to date today, she's super stoked!

I got to start breaking in my new o-tangs on my Evo...I was surprised that even right out of the box, many of the slides were not super chattery. The edges didn't chunk out either, and I ripped a few hard speed checks. Very nice 'thane!

Got to ride with another longboarder today after a couple weeks by myself. We just cruised all over people watching. I landed my first hippie jump rode the garage until the popo showed up and did a sweet coffin under the chained off entrance in the back. Got to ride inside this building with butter smooth floors. Didn't even get kicked out. Then i almost fell after hitting a massive crack in the sidewalk, and did a little arm waving dance to save myself. I then proceded to say "Don't you hate it when you almost fall and look really stupid" and then proceded to eat it hard. Road rash on elbow knee and possibly a twisted ankle. So that sucked. But then some more mellow night cruising so all in all a pretty awesome ride.

today was the first day i skated since june cuz i was gone halfway across the world for the time in between. I ordered a new helmet and slide gloves (gravity) and they should be here in a few days. I was out in my neighborhood just crusin, carvin, and pulling manuals when these two cars blaring rap drove out of nowhere at about 20 miles past the speed limit. I moved to the opposite side of the road so I wouldnt get squashed, but then they swerved into the wrong lane and past about a foot away from me, honking their horns. faggots. they were just jealous! 8) or theyre of the skinny-jeaned folk who hate any style of skating besides street.

I was at this girls pool about a week ago, and she was standing on the board. When one of her friends comes over and pushes her and she falls off, and my board slips out from under her feet and goes right into the pool. I am sitting here with no intention to get up and get that. Long story short, made her go get it and dry it off.... though I thought it was hilarious. It was luckily more of a backup board you could say rather then my favorite board. The board still rides and works fine though so it is all good.

didn't do much riding today, just more of a test run. so i finally went out and got a drum sander drill bit so sand down some wheel wells on my custom cruiser board from hawaii. it took a lot longer than i thought it would. so i got increasingly lazy with each well. the first one i did was beautiful, well shaped, deep enough, symmetrical. amazing. the next one, not so much. and worse and worse to the point that i barely even shaped it, just dug out a hole. well, because of my laziness i failed to measure the depth of the well and just squeezed the wheel against the board with my hand. of course it was deep enough for that... so i jump on and go for a little ride to test it out. right handers were nice and smooth. Original trucks are beautiful. i started sanding on the right side of the board so those were the nicer ones. first left hand carve i try to make, i realized how lazy i had been. terrible wheel bite stops the all forward progress entirely leaving me running it out. i didnt go down too bad but enough to scare me. guess i'll be spending more time on that tomorrow.

Yesterday I went out for a skate when I woke up again and took an epic spill.

I took a sweet 1 footed ski-type turn onto a street and decided to try 360'ing out of it. My board ended up stopping, and I was like superman. My hands went down (not straight down, I've pretty much stopped myself from doing that) and my hands went out. Didn't even scrape up my knees or elbows for once! Just rashed my love handle and shoulder a little bit, but everything's good. Pretty funny.

Just got up so Il tell you about my ride yesterday.
I got bored at around 22:00 when I gave up hope on finding a party so I took the board and rode it straight through town and out to a harbor called Lucerna. Out att Lucerna I just chilled, I walked up to a mountain and sat there, on my board looking at the sunset (Or actually the clouding of the sun T.T)
Figured I had to get my #### togheter and start skating back home after a while. My right foot was really exhausted (pushing foot), so I tried pushing with my left, standing regular pushstyle, I push mongo usually. Found a parking lot out there and tried som tricks, balance tricks mostly involving my left foot
Manuals and nose manuals are hard :o
