Went to a friend's place about an hour away. Skated this place all afternoon in the cold:

Narrow, rough, short, etc. but still was fun. Skate what you've got available. The little S turn at the bottom is fun coming down the other way as long as you don't hit a patch of broken concrete and debris.

I called it quits when it started to get dark and when I started drinking and playing pool inside.

Ah man! Rode my shlong board for two hours today - AWESOME. I love this thing; so zippy and easy to push. I took my Spliff but ended up not riding it, lol. I'm stoked. The weather was great too in the low to mid 40's and sunny. So much fun!

I had my final maths exam today so I skated into it and had the early morning tailwind which meant I could pull some nice carves most for the way there with a little bit of SDP. On the way back the wind had turned and was really blustery so I found myself picking up some decent speed with only 3 or 4 pushes. Halfway back there are about 25 netball courts of pure flat concrete, some of the best Ive skated on. Took a few runs from end to end through these and had a great time chilling to music and skating effortlessly with the wind behind me, so all in all aced the exam and had a sick skate on the way home. Cant ask for much more.

Just cruised around for 45 minutes today with my brother and my friend (who took some pictures). Rode the shlong board most of the time, and the pin tail a little bit. We decided to leave when my friend Ben had his board end up in a mud puddle and got mud and water all in the bearings (yikes). Went home and cleaned his board up and all the bearings, and fixed the obnoxious ride height I had going on with the pin tail today.

first time back on the board in two weeks. had a hair line stress fracture in my right foot, took forever to heal properly and is still not 100%, but i just couldn't resist. . either way, it was worth it, mini-logo bearings are incredible when they are clean and lubed with speed cream. so effortless on the dancer.

Coming home from college is kinda boring, so I went for a big ol' skate. I made a nice playlist of Ratatat, A Tribe Called Quest, and Thievery Corporation. So I went across town, visited my friend who left her gloves at my house, then back again. To finish it off I bombed the hill right in front of my house and sprinted it up it mongo. That absolutely killed me. In total it was about 8 miles with hardly a break in between. I'm really really hungry and tired but I'm stoked.

And my new goal is to be able to touch m toes by June. Haha.

Rode our tiny hill at my grandmother's house yesterday for only about 30 minutes before we had to leave (just stopped by there for a little while). That's all..

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday I didn't get to skate too much during the break but today I told myself I had to get one good session in before school started again.

I went to an office parking garage near my house that I've always drove by but never actually went to. It was amazing, 6 levels, fast slopes and completely empty, can't forget about those elevators also.

I practiced doing some check slides, colemans, my manuals and nose manuals lol and it was an awesome session.

I'm completely in love with my Dervish and those fatty Otangs as well.

my nose manuals finally CLICKED! I was able to hold it for two seconds or so. Not much but gnarly awesome for me. I experienced the same clicking results with body varials.

Also, I am trying to get used to riding switch because i banged up my knee badly over the weekend. Blessing in disguise

Went skating around the city park in Morehead with my friend last night. We were having a blast (no skunks to run us off this time) just cruising and carving around then it started raining on us so we made a quick pace back on our boards to our cars and went to Sonic to hang out for the rest of the evening. Stupid rain... I got rained out today too.

I hit a piece of gravel today and shot off the front of my board and semi-slammed my knee and shoulder as i tried to roll. My kneepads were in the car. Now my knee feels like it is sticking to the inside of my pants leg.

I got lazy about 2 years ago and left my pads in the car....after +30 years of skating in pads the knee slide is automatic...I realized what I was to do to my knees a fraction of a second before I hamburgered both knees...
