I recognize that spot. I was out there on Coranado Island just a little over
a month ago. Great place, and the skatepark is just on the other side of
the parking lot if I am in the right spot. It was so nice, man do I miss it.
It's a whopping 27 degrees and pitch dark here right now.

Just got back from a quick run. Man, it was great after not longboarding for a month! Slapped some wheels on a dancer and danced around town.

got my dervish all put together last night... was skating pretty much all day, stopped by home every once in awhile

i wish it were less windy today, it seemed like i was going into the wind like all the time haha. when I wasn't facing the wind it was awesome though, this thing glides forever.

on a random note: after i passed some kids i heard one of them shout, "What was that??"
    made me chuckle

im trying to figure out if there is anyway to paint this thing without ruining the flex, let me know if you have any experience with it

This girl let me borrow her Sector 9 Longboard (Until I get my first one for X-Mas) on Wednesday and I didn't get to use it until Friday. I skated 'till 12 at night and as soon as I woke up today I've been skating.

Raining all day, plus I have finals this week so I'm not skating much. But I'm going for a nice long skate towards the weekend when the sun comes out.

This morning on the way to school I got a flat, so rather then spending the time to fix it i decided to park the car and ride to school on my mini.

ahhh, it was a great run, something about the early morning is real peaceful. But Florida's humidity got me again, and I was pretty gross when I got there. It was worth it though. If it got a little cooler I would longboard to school everyday.

Talking Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?

    Mine was really good.

I have had my Dervish for a couple of months now, running Randal 180s and I used to have the Khiro inserts bushings in red and I thought that was fun (I weigh like 130). Then when I came home from uni one of the guys had a Dervish too, running Chargers and I was like ####! I wish my board felt like this, his was like really carvey and cool. So I loosened up my trucks a lot and it carved more, but it still didn't feel as good as his.

So today I changed the bushings to Holey red bottoms and Khiro orange tops and went out skating on it and it felt ####### awesome. Really tight little carves and really springy rebound. I don't even know how I found it fun before, but now it's so good to ride. Can't wait for some dryer weather so I can really go for it.

Wow is the weather crap. It's way cold, gravel on the road and wet so I can't skate, and there is no snow either >.<

Horrible, been raining all day and all week. cold, and if the road even starts to dry up, the rain comes straight down again. heavy too. flooding some of the streets. no skating for me.

Even winter break is rainy weather

I was trying to figure out the first part of your post before I read the rest -- I was kinda scratching my head, wondering how a skateboard gets a flat tire...hahaha.

A few days ago I woke up at 6:30 AM to skate. Amazing. There were barely any people out or any cars to avoid (those things always piss me off, either trying to kill you or trailing behind you at 2 MPH..even when you stop to let them pass), and it was cool (temperature-wise, but I guess it was pretty c8)8)l as well). After that, I was wide awake and ready to start the day -- I had an eighteen hour day..but then I was exhausted the next.

I think I'll try to wake up even earlier tomorrow, it's weird to skate while it's light out; I guess I'm too used to skating at night. Hopefully I'll be in the mood to try new stuff out (yes, I have to be in the right mood, haha) and make some progress on riding switch.

poway pumphouse action with my 29 year old daughter and 18 year old son today! chrismas eve+eve

i set up the light-blue color course for my kids and we ran cones for about an hour. We cruised from the top to the bottom on an axe maximus and my daughter's new dialed in deck from richie carrasco sporting seismics and a skennett up front with pre-coned PP wheels.

my son ripped. dude is scaring me 2nd day and I would wager a guess in his age class he's near the top of the downhill already. he looks promising but he's stuck on finger-flips still and rightly so. the finesse of those riders is amazing but sometimes the 50 step rails and face planting is way too flipped out for me to comprehend. not everyone beefs it but the guys going for that feat have to eventually find more stable ground to deal with chronic pain. chronic pain is something some kids who feel they are invincible need to entertain as a potential before jumping off that cliff of desire.

a number of times when i first did tail drops into deep pools(1977) with very little transition i thought.. ok this is like jumping to the bottom but i'll have a skateboard under my feet and I need to react just as quick. a couple of times, dropping 8-10 ft and not landing "correctly" resulted in some body slam pain that required time away from the skateboard ! i think parts of my elbows and hips have some pain memory as I write this, i'm getting tweeks

riding skateboards is an experiential process and we all should know that evolution is in progress. people that appear to be lucid are often found with tunnel vision. all i can say iss the more people HATE, the more you can see they need the baby jesus on their side.

yikes! mari on her second outting caught on to the idea of staying low and lowering the back leg to make braking controlled turns. she caught on and had two breakthrough runs. it was a great day mostly cuz we knew rain tomorrow that has already started now

are there local garages to ride? i don't see driving that far when there has to be something nearer!
