Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
rode home from school on my nemesis. Did some speedcheck down a steep hill, rolled through some grass onto a sidewalk, slipped on some rocks and did a gnarly 180 (I did it on purpose I swear) then proceeded to flag down traffic as people ran stop signs.
what a great day

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
wanted to for an extended longboarding trip today but had to cut it short because the roads where still too wet for the most part. had to footbreak down all the hills i normally skate down because i didnt want my board to slip away under me.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
just got back from a hour long ride on the bridge thats near my house and it was one of the best sesions i had in a while. I realized ive never seen how fast i could go on it so i slaped on my 42 degree plates on my strike and grabed my gps. with a light tail wind and a hard push at the top i managed 36 mph . after that i praticed doing pendys in the width of a sidwalk before the hairpin that goes under the bridge.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Went back out again today with 2 more people in our party for a total of 4. Skated this end of the ridge over and over again until we got finally had enough cold. Won a couple simple races down the longest hill (though the slow one) against my friend, albeit a little unfair since his bearings are worse than mine now, but I would have won anyway I think. Watched my friend from Brazil go down his first decent hill today - he was stoked and from then on kept going back up to the top with us to keep going down. Overall, excellent little cruise for 2-3 hours in 25-30 degree weather and light snow flurries the whole time. Posted some pics from it in Action Shots.

I had a sweet downhill run were I got to string 3 hills together. all nice easy right/toeside carves. Safe because all of them had stop signs. It was so smooth!

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
i just had a load of fun on my gravity mini with powerballs and grind kings.
i'm in the process of trying to destroy it. its really fun to ollie and slide curbs with. its pretty challenging to do anything on it since i have size 12 feet, but that adds to the fun. stand up 360s are a blast. other than that its all manuals and bonelesses, no comply lots of retro stuff.
i love sessions like this cause it feels like im touching skateboardings roots. man i love skateboarding.

mission accomplished
but yeah petary's basement is probably better (mine has biology and chemistry labs ) so less chance for getting busted, but ours is great for practicing the drifts 8)
Way to spread the stoke
It's cool when you have a place to skate indoors in the winter.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Today was an awesome skate day. Started with an hour session at the local skate park, never more than 4 people skating, and two of them were me and my son. Later skated to the YMCA to do a pilates class with my wife, then skated home. After lunch, I skated LDP to work, and found a great section of sidewalk I had not know about and pumped switch the whole section, super stoke. I finally got the real groove pumping switch along the section, I was very stoked. Great tunes were really a big part of that I'm sure. Got to ride home from work later in the day, I was whipped by the time I got there. All in all, I really enjoyed the day. And to top it off, it was my boy's 18th birthday, so we had some killer homemade zucchini cake for dessert tonight.
Can't imagine how tomorrow could be better.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I was without power since last Tuesday, and we ended up going to stay with my grandmother in a different city until tonight. Friday evening I was able to come back here finally and grab my pin tail since the snow/ice storm had settled down somewhat. Rode alllll weekend. Got really dirty and wet riding through everything, killed several sets of cheap bearings, and had to overhaul our boards this evening but we didn't care - it was well worth it. Had a blast skating around town and bombing some small hills, and just generally carving around and having a good time. Found some really cool new spots to go back to when it's dry too! Super-stoked. Ordered parts this evening from Mark to replace the ones we broke over the weekend, and... didn't do my homework (just now remembered).. ah well, it was fun.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Today I was just going down my hill and I rolled over an unseen pile od dog crap. I splattered all over my leg and the bottom of my board. Other than that, it was fun.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
i've actually been able to get in some good runs the last few days. If its in the 30s I won't go skate, its just not fun for me. Its been nice during the days though and I've been able to cruise campus some and ride the dog. I just got him a harness this week and he loves pulling me around, it wears his ass out too
