Todays ride was epic, built a sail and used the wind to push me down the street... haha...
Cops were kind of confused. But yeah mid 70's wind. UGH

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Had a great little mini-micro-session for the last 20min of my lunch break at work, I went to a low-traffic sloping street that crosses another street that slopes down in both directions and just practiced drifting turns over and over again. Later on I got a call from my roommate that my cat was sick and needed to be brought to the hospital, so I ditched work and raced home as fast as I could - even though I was a little stressed out, I got in some wicked carves on this steep hill right near my house and felt a lot better by the time I got home. The little guy's got an infection of some sort, but the vets said he should be fine with some antibiotics and rest.
I made the mistake of trying some more aggressive slides on wet pavement a few days ago (fun as hell, but as soon as I got home I knew I hadn't waited long enough after the rain stopped to go out, water was everywhere) and my bearings definitely took a hit, so I'll probably swap them out with fresh ones soon. Also time to put those spacers back in, since I'm actually putting more stress on my wheels and bearings now, and not just bombing hills.

Yeah man, it was. It had chill carving followed by pulling some TIGHT pendy's into corners. I saw one golfer there, and I actually just skipped that hole. It looked flat anyway. But besides that, I didn't see anybody, and nobody talked to me after.

I can't wait til I can post about a daily ride.. ride now I'm just counting down the time.. It snowed all morning, but it warmed up in the afternoon, snow seems to overall be melting now. Few weeks and I should get to see some pavement
I need a new idea for a sig.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
what an amazing ride. i went out around 10 at night to meet up with the longboard club on campus. we played some hide and seek with our boards and pretty much just messed around. then afterwards me and 2 other guys went up the city hall garage and bombed it a couple of times and after sat at the top of the garage chatting about how awsome longboarding is then we bombed it one last time, said our goodbyes and that was my amazing night

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
On my way home from school, pulled into a residential neighborhood and went down a small hill on my new homemade board. Only got up to 15mph but it was still fun. Got some dirty looks from people as well *sigh*
