I learned a valuable lesson today. Don't skate with an ear infection. Ouch. I'm glad my momma always taught me to tuck and roll.

Today, I went for my first proper run with my longboard. I have roadrash from my knee to my ankle, and I'm missing two fingernails. Waiting for my boyfriend to bring my board back so I can go again. Never been happier about anything!

Yeah, it's righteous. It's bad though when you get used to it and then transition to roads.

Terrifying. Turns out, the local skaters set up a quarter-pipe at the bottom of my favorite bombing run, and were hittin it at 15 mph. I started a the very top of the hill, and was pushing 35+ and didn't see the ramp until too late. I sort of turned out of the way, and hit the edge of the ramp and gained much more air than I would have liked. Landed it though.
    I'm itchin' for a sandwich.

Epic! It's finally warm enough and the roads are mostly clear of cinders and other winter-crap and there was no traffic yesterday because of Easter, so the boyfriend guy and I took our usual run twice, then we finally got a new skate tool and he helped me fix the trucks on my Dervish and I tgot to take it out for the first time since October. Then that night some of his roommate's friends and I took a few runs starting a little ways up this massive hill they all live by and turning off down the samller hill the boyfriend guy and roommate live on. I haven't gone out at night since I got glasses in a while and it was way, way less scarier than I always thought it was and the Dervish was perfect and aaah God yes it was almost better than oral sex.

I can't wait until it's summer and it'll be warm enough to stay out all night!

It was so much fun, I learned that slide where you lean way to the side and put down both hands yesterday, and I actually has able to learn it switch today! It's a very easy slide, but a lot of fun and the first switch slide I've ever learned. Since it's now Easter Break, I went to the elementary school by my house, where there is a nice long stretch of slight downhill, plus some fun curbs for early grabs and stuff.
My Favorite Trick: Two-Handed Toeside Slide
Latest Trick I've Learned: Longboard Shuvit
When I Learned It: Friday, May 22nd
Trick I'm Learning: Stand Up Toeside Slide

    It's all downhill from here!

My friend lent me his longboard (since the longboard I ordered hasn't come in yet) and I went for my first ride today Couple of small hills, working on balance and all that and got to cruise down a really nicely paved pathway for a while. God I love longboarding.

Last night it snowed like 4-5" and I was pretty mad.. Majority of the snow was finally gone, and then it goes and snows again.. Well by the time I was out of school it melted again, so some friends and I skated, like 2-9pm, good stuff.
I need a new idea for a sig.

Went out today, and worked on doing corners in my tuck, and doing cornering with the rail ( dont know what else to call it). Then i went and just did a tiny hill to work on my tuck, but the head wind was so strong that i just looked like a kid going 2 mph down a road bent over. Overall good day, and I can't wait to get out again.
