Dude ####, I was just bombing a small hill, i'd say 15-20mph and some guy on his bike comes flying out of one of these streets on the way down and follows me for about 100 yards. Then he asked me how old i was and i was like
    "ugh?, 8th grade"
"oh wow you are much younger than me!"
    I was like ya?
then he follow me to this park and was like "I haven't be here in like 2 years it brings back good memories."
then i push pretty quick and went into this church parking lot and saw a longboarder, then looked closly to find out it was my friends younger brother.

then that one dude started taking to him,
and i was like "uh, a longboarder over there!"
and rode off but the dude follow me.

So i just let him talk about his life tell my friends mom drove by, and i asked for a ride, so we (without the guy) hopped in.
Then the dude was like "i need friends what his address?"
    Finally she just drove off

I loosened up my rear truck a quarter turn and finally really got into my carves. I'm pretty thrilled about it.

I'm a total n00b. Three weeks ago I couldn't even stand on a skateboard. Mudbogging was getting kinda boring and I've always thought longboarding sounded awesome, so I'm doing this now. It's allot of fun because it's such a challenge for me. I still got the old mudracer though, 84 Ford on 38 inch boggers.

Alright so me and my roomate just got back from a ride, about an hour. We went through these nice culdasacs and stuff right in front of our apartment complex. As we were riding we saw three police cars not 8 feet from eachother all turn into this culdasac. So, being curious we followed. We went around a corner, and they were all standing outside their cars, with an additional suburban cruiser. We said hello, and they commented on hour our boards were big and stuff and we went on our way. As we were leaving the area, another cruiser passed going to the same area. Then on down the road, ANOTHER cruiser turned in.

6 police cruisers in total, all in one really nice area just chattin'. Why? Idk.

Went to Seven Layers of Heaven (Dublin Bart garage). First time, there pretty fun. Smoked my freebord friends, nothing to really be proud of though. Anyone else ride there often?

I woke up late for my 9:30 class so I took my broken/fixed longboard (which I had drilled new holes in earlier around April 4) and it currently has no griptape on it right now so as I was riding to my class, I accidentally twist my body forward to adjust my backpack (which had my laptop in it) and I ended up falling in front of 4 people. Good thing the classes had already started because it was my first time riding that board to class and there's usually a big crowd going to different classes. Fortunately, a generous student picked up my longboard that rode away from me and gave it to me and made sure I was okay. I was but nevertheless, I was still embarrassed. I'm still in class right now haha.

I think this season is a wash. We had the nicest days of the year last week, I had gastroenteritis and was too busy puking to skate... now we're due for another huge ass storm that's gonna wreck the roads, and they're gonna dump even more sand on the roads. It's already like skating on a playground out there. I haven't skated in ####### forever, every time I turn around, I'm sick or there's a snowstorm.

Read the local paper at breakfast today. In the police reports, two people were warned after skating down the brand new parking garage here in Bozeman. I shredded the parking garage a week before, before security was handed over to the cops. So smooth... As soon as the snow stops melting into rivers down it, I'm going back over for a night run. hopefully.

12miles to the beach and back....wind was kind of annoying on the way back but otherwise great skate, cool enough to keep from sweating to much and the roads are nearly sand free....yea!!!! winter is over

I'm so psyched, I was able to finally get some speed checks going today. I'm hoping to be able to do stand up slides soon, I think I'm really close.

Cool Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?

Today's ride was a beauty, like Xgecko said, it's cool enough
that you don't sweat much, yet warm enough you don't need
    a coat/hoodie. Spring is a great season!

I have pretty dang new retro 83a freerides, and I'm considering getting the 86a's next time. Would you suggest doing so? Have you used wheels a little softer than your new ones?

Skated to work for the first time since I pulled a straight-to-face on a hill Sunday afternoon, it was a beautiful day and I felt really comfortable despite my knees still being pretty stiff. Repped the helmet all day; since my spill I've decided to wear it whenever I'm on the board, as opposed to only when I'm planning on an actual session.

Did some drifting on the way home and after lunch, noticed my slides were much smoother and more consistent than even a week or two ago. I'm not sure if it's just that my wheels are broken in now or if I've improved to the point that I'm sliding better, but it's inspired me to get some harder wheels and risers and hook up my neglected 40" Zorlac as a sliding board, so I won't have to swap wheels when I went to really slide.

Finally got my own board set up and went cruising and just hanging out with a bunch of friends. Roggs Junior Dancer rides like a dream. Let my friend ride it for a while and throughout the day I was tweaking my trucks and by the end of the night I finally had it dialed down to something comfortable and turny, plus I had enough practice in the day not to get speed wobble anymore...on a slow speed. Still workin' it!

The kp on my front truck snapped post-bomb the other day hahaha, felt like the trucks were loosey goosey all of a sudden, luckily I didn't eat sh*t. Cheapskates get what they pay for lol.

Got to practice my standy slides today after more than three weeks, definitely missed the feeling of going sideways

me and my freind were skating this one hill by us and these 2 drunk guys and one drunk girls started with one of my freinds. i was unaware because i was alredy like half way down the hill.
so me and me freinds start back up the hil to meet up with our freinds. this is were i find out. i turn to my freinds and being the arogant teen 16 year old i am say lets go for one more run. i skate up at faster then my other freinds so the guy kant get his hands on me but he puncjed my other freind in the chest of his board into a car. he gets up gets away. so i gmake my way back to them without passing this guy. as i reach my freind im on the phone with my other freinds at the botom of the hill and my freind im with goes are you on the phone witht the cops too. i still dont know he got hit. so i go no y and he tells me his side of the story. at this point ooim going down the hill to meet back up with my other freinds as this is hapening they ride off on there bikes and we go up to were they were and wait for the cops and then we tell the cops our story. it all ended up ok. no body was hurt. i did hear people chanting skatgeboards which i never ever thaught id here in my life. haha
