I cruised down these trails that just got paved. Lots of hills, and it was all sooo smooth. Even on greaseball bearings it felt amazing.8)

Fantastic! As soon as I got home from school I went around the neighborhood cruising and going down some light hills. My feet got sore so I went inside after 20 minutes. I however couldn't get it out of my system so I went out again, this time just staying on flatland and practised my crossteps. 2 hours later I've got them fairly down. Just need more practise

It was great, finally got my first board and went dh'ing with my friends...

First had to assemble it, then had to take apart my friends other board because the company I ordered from DIDN'T INCLUDE THE SCREW'S AND NUTS TO ASSEMBLE THE TRUCKS TO THE BOARD!!!!

After a bit of fine tuning, it was running great.

my girlfriend and i were cruising Riverside state park in Spokane, WA, she got speed wobbles at the end of a hill and lost control, causing her to fall off and roll, her head bounced on the pavement (no helmet) and scraped up her body pretty badly.

but afterward we went to another park with amazing pavement and danced a bit!

    It ended well!

Bouncing of the head doesn't sound like a good time

    It was pretty damn amazing!

I got a few of my friends and we got my video camera.

We then road around the city for a little bit and then finally found a good enough hill to film on.

Got all ready and I started filming while they were practicing sliding.

Felt great and we're finally getting some warm summer/spring weather

Today was snowing so I haven't gone out. Yesterday however I just hung out with a few friends after school, casually cruising, me trying out some cross stepping. We got some Wendys and hung out outside just chatting and etc whilst again I was practising cross stepping. As soon as I got home, I only intended to be out for 2 minutes just to get it out of my system for the night but I was out for an hour. I got my cross steps down during that time and started some Peter Pans

Went out several times today and did a lot of work on h/s and t/s 180 slides, had a blast but I think I may have given myself a groin pull overextending my leg a couple times. Most days now I'm working 13 hours between my internship and my full-time job, but I still manage to sneak in at least an hour of longboarding a day.

A campus security guy on a bike came up while I was doing shutdowns on a side-street that's mostly closed for repairs (I did an extra-long one to show off once I saw him watching and wound up getting my first flatspot) and asked me if I'd ever tried riding down a nearby parking garage. It's 10 stories, but it's part of a 24-hour supermarket and the final ramp is very steep and leads directly onto rough cobblestones and then heavy traffic, so I've always been wary of trying to skate in there. He told me that he likes to bomb it on his bike and see how long he can go without braking - seemed like a pretty cool guy.

Maybe I'll give that garage a shot one of these days, it's so big that I doubt I'd get noticed if I stayed away from the bottom few floors.

*Update: So after posting this, I decided to go out and do just a tiiiny little bit more sliding. I did a couple 180s but started to get too tired to really pull them off properly and wound up standing on my board in a parking lot in semi-frustration. On a whim, I decided to try to ollie. It's worth noting that I've been trying to learn to ollie for years; I never managed it as a kid and I gave up after a few months of sporadic attempts as an adult. But for some reason, at 2am on a 40" slide deck, I was suddenly able to ollie.

Tiny, shitty little ones, but ollies nonetheless. I just coasted around for a while, trying to get the board higher and higher off the ground. For some reason it just suddenly clicked. Weird. Needless to say, I'm gladly I went back out for just a little longer, haha.

Bombed down to the train in Cold Spring. Pushed 15 miles through Manhattan. Hopped the free IKEA ferry to Brooklyn. Skated home.

Rode my cruiser to work today for the first time this week. I'd been riding my tiny-wheeled slide deck to work so I could get in some skating during lunch, but I overdid it a little and decided to give my body a bit of a break. Those damn Strikers felt fast as hell after rolling around on teeny little street wheels for the past few days, I felt like I was riding a damn missile around town!

Did some slides when I got home, too. Fun times, I'm definitely improving.

I swear this spring is a cruel joke. 2 days ago it was literally a perfect 83° and sunny. Today? SNOW. 4 or 5 times this year, it's been 70-80°, then within 24-36 hours it's just above freezing and there's snow coming down. This is goddamned ridiculous if I do say so myself.

most frustrating session ever. I spent 4 hours on the same dinky ass hill practicing my heelside standups and I hurt all over.

I can get the rotation every time. Perfect 180* slide but I couldn't stay in the board. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Hit 38mph today. Previous best was around 30-34. This is on my spud with randal 50-50* and the stock red bushings. I couldn't get down fully into my tuck because I would get speed wobbles about 4' wide, so i stayed in a loose tuck with my arms to the sides to airbreak. Which means once my baseplates come in/once i get comfortable this hill is probably good for closer to 45

Had a great ride today.....car swerved right in front of me so I had to swerve(carve) out of the way just in time, ONLY to end up running over some large unknown object in the road and force me to lose balance. Thank you slide gloves!
