so i was just practicing some soft wheel slides throughout my neighborhood and was coming down this hill to pick up some speed. well this cat decides that it's his turn to cross the street, right in front of me.
BAM!! phatty speed check! the screeeeeeeeeeee! from my wheels scared the cat and it bolted out of my way.
so thanks to a cat i now know how to speed check. WEEEEEEEEEE!

I had myself a delicious pint of Guiness after last nights slide session rained away. Turned on some Family guy, poured a glass of black gold, disassembled the board and cleaned it.

Fell asleep on the couch. Felt good.

^ ^ You're a good man Charlie Brown. Not only do you speak my dark foamy hops language, your board gets TLC too! Dark n Creamy is on my menu tonight too.

I'm getting it on with a long necked, white beauty I've been lusting after for a couple of days. And I'm having this girl over as well for some nookie.

    See what I did there?

Okay, so our local brewery just released a wheat beer called White Dog. Had half a sip from a lukewarm pint glass about a week ago, so I was stoked to find a bottle in one of the local marts.

As for longboarding, I skated as far as I could until the bus caught up with me on my way home from work. Met up with some local skaters to get a pair of head phones back, and since longboarding still is a fashion statement more than anything else over here we easily got a couple of wow's and awe's.

Stand up 180 was clearly the favourite And now I'm going to skate home from my parents under the darkening, late summer sky after a nice, hot meal.

    Life, my friends, is good.

My ride was cut short by a thunderstorm, but I discovered that broke in purple 4 pres have less grip than brand new powerballs, but the 4 pres definitely have wayyy more rebound.
I have a bunch of skateboards

Isn't this what you're supposed to put in a signature?

The skate home was nice and just the right temperature. I will wake up tomorrow, skate down to the post office and hopefully pick up my 661 Full Comp
And since I have the day off, I will probably test the helmet out as well!

I was actually thinking about removing the visor (the cap like thing?), wearing it on my head, bomb a hill and see how comfortable I find it.

No plans about crashing my coconut into anything at high speeds, but I hope I'll be safe it that happens.

Loosened my trucks, dug too hard toe-side on a patch of sand. Still really hot, tomorrow though, hittin' the bridge down the street.
