Chris, I almost caught him at the light at the bottom. he was in a convertible so I was gonna give him a piece of my mind. At the very least explain to him that what he'd just done was illegal on so many levels, whereas I had full right to be doing what I was doing.

SHARE THE ROADS is what us longboarders needs to scream at these ROAD HOGS. I feel your pain. Its like the bikers around the lakes I skate give me #### on my longboard and they terrorize the joggers and bladers so recently one of these bikers was on his way home away from the lake path I skate and me on my motorcycle heading home after a 6 mile skog, i drove up close with my yellow board(he knew it was me) and I squeezed him to the curb. he doesn't F with me any more!
I don't start these problems, I try to balance the tables.

exactly. I'd love to explain to the guy that if he does it again I'm getting his plates and reporting him to the police. I'm sure some cops would love to nab a douchebag in a brand new BMW for something....

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
My board just arrived, I skated away and fell three times in 5 minutes...
Turns out I was getting wheelbite, first time I have experienced it.
At first I though the wheels were bad at handling cracks/rough roads.
There are now some great green skidmarks where I came off and my shoes left half the sole behind

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
this was a couple of months ago but i thought it was cool, i had just left the house in the morning heading the the gym eating a pear while skating, anyway im cruising taking a left turn and i drop my pear, instantly i think ####, the pear then bounced off the road and landed on my deck between my feet, so i guessed it was ment to be eaten and continued to munch away

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Had a nice "normal" run.
Went to do some cruising around town and afterwards I went to this empty parking lot to get my cross-step variations on and to try the "popcorn shove-it" and the "pineapple".
Almost ate it a couple of times trying the shove-it, but nothing too serious.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I took my two sisters down to the elementary school parking lot. One sister skates (sort of) and the other is a total newb. I put her on my mini and let her go. She's all like, "I might have to buy myself one of these."
Like three people just came into the parking lot, parked, talked on the phone, and drove off. I think it was a drug deal.
I lol'd when she went down the SMALLEST incline (decline) ever. "Jooooooooooooooordan, help me. This is too fast!"

hahahhaha one of my favorite reactions to see. we took one of my friends german exchange students down this slight decline and he starts cussing in German, jumps off, and is like "holy #$%^ that was so fast!". (he was pushing faster on flat land, i swear)
yesterday one of my buds got tired of hiking so he drove behind us to clock our speed and get us up to the top of the hill. 35mph for the slowest guy. i feel cool. 8)

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Worked on my coleman slides today. I got the part where you have to look back down the hill to whip around. So, im pretty happy. Some guy asked where the guy I sometimes longboard was, cause we longboard outside his house sometimes. I talked to that guy for a second because he had some other questions, and its nice to have a stranger be interested about longboarding not angry at me.
So he asks about crashing and stuff and I tell him about it, and what do I do 30 seconds later at an intersection coming out of my tuck? I crash. Tried to foot brake but that when wrong cause i got wobbles (my trucks were loose for sliding). Good day though. Think im going to practice slides as much as possible.

Did he have an accent? That would make that story double funny.
Well, I went back out last night. At 12:00, and I didn't get home until 3:00 AM. Haha. BUT.
I think my sister is going to buy a board. She's 14 and tacky, so I'm thinking she could get a blank just to draw on. I showed her The Longboard Store's complete. I think she likes it.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
good day today ... i threw down my first colemans. then i got so excited i was colemaning all over the place. people thought i was wierd. they were right.
then later in the afternoon i go back out. i'm all nasty, i can stop on a dime right?
well i go donw the sidewalk, where i normally ride in the street. got some unexpected air and slid on my front side completely flat on the ground. like the front of my body from my hands to my feet.
it was a perfect fall, had scuff marks on my hands, chest, pockets where the keys/cell phone were, and my knees and toes of the shoes. no blood, only bruises. the concrete was forgiving today. i never slid on concrete that didn't rip skin off but this stuff was like chalky.
yay.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
My new Avenger arrived today so I got to mess around with it for a little while after work. Seems like an awesome board, but to be honest I was just too beat after work to really put the board through its paces.
