no ride today. trying to recoup the knee a little. have it wrapped and it doesn't seem to ache as much. stopping by doing step offs is not the way to go.

It dried out enough to ride the new Eel yesterday and VS. the Heist the Eel feels much more stable . I didn't get to ride for long ( just long enough to burn the mold marks off the lemon freerides ) but i think I'll like it .

Yesterday i got to ride down a road that was paved 2 days before and it was so smooth its a shame that the road has a lot of traffic running through it. All in all it was fun, also whats up silverfish community this would be my first post, I live in lower Bucks County in PA just started boarding and its a lot of fun. I guess it has been 2-3 weeks since i have started boarding and slowly but steadily I am getting used to it. larger hills just seem to keep getting easier and easier which is nice because at first they were terrifying but now its all good. Well I am sure that being here will give me a lot more knowledge on styles and what to purchase. I have a friend here that I can board with but I am not sure what his username on here is.

well it started to snow here in CT, so no longboarding for me..
I skate because there's no Facespace, no Mybook, no Twatter, no eMail, no television, no commercials, no celebrities, no zillion dollar sports teams. No bulls--t whatsoever... It's just me, the pavement, one deck, two trucks, four bushings, four wheels, eight bearings, and some mounting hardware. My very own little race car, my own flight simulator, and it feels f--king great.

Go for it Stricky! pseudo-snowboard... kind of. lmk how it works.

We're in our 18th day below normal temps (40's rather than 60's) and the coldest Oct in 22 years.
Gloom, doom, cold and rainy again today but the weather guessers seem to think sun and pushing 60 may happen on Sunday. That would be a good thing.

    Welcome to The Fish.

Well after 2 days the rain has subsided and has dried up about 90% still cant carve the entire hill without sliding, but eh. Had to go about 10 miles today for nothing....Stupid teacher wasnt there today. >.> Say 2 fellow boarders on the light rail, one on a mini and one on a 48-ish inch S9. Oh but I did get to go thru campus when class was letting out That was fun, first time tbh. Loved going thru small puddles, people: 'WTF?!' ^.^ Anyways, it was an okay day.

so i wanted to do something constructive today so i went out found a parking lot and started trying to learn to nose manual, well i am able to get one whole parking space sometimes now but i had one fall which i landed hard on my upper left shin and now i think its bruised, but hey it was fun, but i think that i should find some other people to skate with cause just practicing by myself can get boring.

wut? sounds like work to me... I'm about to leave the office and go straight home. First time the sun has shown since last Sunday. I might go straight home. Maybe. Except I've still got a couple 5 or 6 boards in the truck along with all the padding and stuff from last Sunday's expedition. Who knows... I might get sidetracked.

Me and my crew ( SDCG ) started skating a garage at 10:30 pm. First garage was a bust since they turned off the elevators.
Second stop was the legendary concourse in Downtown SD. We got 4 runs before they turned off the elevators on us, amazing 4 rides!
Third Stop, 8 Story garage in UCSD, Massive group of riders going down the garage made for an incredibly fun ride ( i got wiped out by a newbie lol and there were the obligatory falls from crowds , ) fun all around.
From there a select few of us decided that the night shouldnt end so early, so we drove 65 miles north to Irvine to our favorite garages, a fast double down garage, and then longboard heaven ( JAMBOREE!!!! ) an 8 story garage thats HUGE!!! the floors seem like double downs each time for 8 times!!! perfect spot to race on!
after that we called it a night, didnt get home until 6:50am and could not be happier!

    Amazing rides here in SD
