Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
TODAY TOTALLY BUMMED ME OUT....sorry for flame but yah...
First of all, 2 of my bearings were totally making scratchy sounds (found out later it was totally frozen....) after I finished carving a hill on a bike path a guy on a bike said "skateboards arent alound here, dufus!" I was like, "Dufus?!? Atleast I can keep up with you!" He just kept going. Skates arent aloud there....But, whatever. I dont get in anyones way or go to slow or stop randomly! Ughh just totally ruined my day....
So for bikes bein stupid I give you a big

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
went to my favorite hill today, got few runs in at 35 but it poured so it was the perfect time to do rediculously long drifts and 20ft shut down slides on my 75a wheels, oh yeah i was using my second hombuild that i just got mounted today, much more stable than i thought and i love the concave i liek it so its more agressive concave in the front and almost flattening out in the back so you get leverage and controll in the front but you back foot is nice and free to move about in tucks all and all it was pretty damn sweet

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
good skate and almost got pumping down. need to find a longer way to work.
Tip:
Never try to stop a longboard with the tip of your index finger on the grip tape. sucks, leaves a line of sanded off skin on the black grip tape. not too good for the finger either.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
We did some DH with 2 mates, and found some new roads with perfect sealing and no cars. It's in a new subdivision, the road is 800m long, with something like 10 different runs to ride on. There is plenty of turns (toe side and heel side) and some fast sections (70Km/h on the GPS). We had an epic session and both fell as we improved so much in one afternoon... We also did some filming... Can't wait to go back bombing on this spot!

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
Went out last night to test out some sweet camera equipment. Originally we were to meet up with a bunch of street skaters, but since none of them stuck to the plan we ended up finding a hill where I busted slides for the other guy to snap pictures of.
Flywheels are crazy. I'm borrowing a set of 83mm 81a from a friend and I wouldn't be suprised if they're in their 70's when I return them.
Pocket wizards are, dare I say, 'hella' cool. Being able to fire off multiple flashes from 1600ft is awesome! I'm still not sure if it's $500 awesome, but still, pretty awesome! If only I could figure out how to keep my Canon flashes from entering sleep mode.

found a longer way to work, maybe a little too long but it was all good. also on the way home found an empty parking lot. now while waiting for the bus up the hill i can get a little more skating time in. "where there's a will there's a relative".

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
I only had time for a quick ride today. I went to a path around this place called Sloan's Lake. So my ride included dodging ankle biters, goose poop slaloming and having homeless onlookers whistling at me. But I got my ride in and it is a beautiful day in coloRADo.

Re: How was your daily longboarding ride/s?
OMG, first day running my Cindy's at speed....I can finally say I understand what it means to to drift into/through corners....scared the crap out of myself until I realized how easy is....I spent the day skating faster and faster....gotta say that bigzigs also make a big difference. I've never had a board that felt good on a big wheel. Today was a step forward in learning to go downhill fast
