    Default Need some board help

so i've been "longboarding" for about 2 years, which actually means ive just been riding down little bunny slopes off and on for 2 years. but recently ive decided to take things a little more serious since a few of my friends have got longboards now. I have an old beat to hell S9 OG pintail and wanna upgrade it for something a little nicer. any suggestions on a good carving board for around $150?

Bustin Boards Complex is a great board for carving and all around skating. (minus serious downhill) They are just a hair over the $150 mark but well worth it. Other than that their are tons and tons of nice boards out there. I just happen to ride a Complex and love it.

I'd go with a Fibreflex Pintail. They might be a little more than you want to spend, but the investment will be totally worth it. Fibreflex makes great boards, and the pin will be a great carver and all-around crusier, especially if you go for the 38".

Just search for 'Fibreflex Pintail' and you'll see all the raving that is done about this board.

Set the deck up with some randals (which come with the complete if bought off of the fibreflex website, or most other sites for that matter) and you'll be good to go.

If the 38" board is too short for you, you could always spring for the 44".

Best of luck in your search!
