Re: Good deck recommendation for for LDP matching Carver CX
What is pumping.

I want to get my pump on and I have a set of Carver CX trucks. Can anyone suggest a good board to learn/excel/LDP on?
From looking around, I'm thinking:
RoeSlalom Mermaid LDP (though the wait seems VERY long)
Insect City Bomber (just looks super nice)
Rayne Timeline
generally something GS slalom-ish?
I've heard the CX's are good for this purpose, so I really only want to get a nice deck.
All help appreciated!

Skateov, search pumping here. Learn to do it and you will be able to pump and carve up a parking lot without hardly ever having to push.
With me being in the land of flat , its one of the only ways to really get it going flatland.
Before I got pumping ,,, it was push off,, carve a litle ,, push off carve a little,,,etc. Got old quick. But when you combine the 2 It can be more like riding a endless wave.

Longboard Larry has an LDP that he recommends for use with Carver trucks as well, I believe it's called the Sandpiper.
Roggs Fibreglass Dancer
LBL Old Skool Dancer
Loaded Vanguard Flex 3
Earthwing Drifter
S9 46" Supercruiser
Element Popsicle (it was $50 Canadian, give me a break...)
Old School 80's Board

bucksaw87, my vanguard's a 42" flex 2 with randals, blue khiros all around (barrel and alum insert top) and those purty orange (75a/78mm) seismic blast waves.
I can feel just the slightest bit of momentum increase when I am heavily weighted forward in a turn and I unweight, so I know there's pumping possibilities.
