    Default OSD wheel bite

So I got a OSD (Bamboo) for christmas
    with 10" gullwing chargers
    and 76mm kryptonics

I got serious wheel bite, tightening trucks didn't help, 3/8" risers didn't help
    so, my ideas are:
    1. The bushings are really soft, get hard harder ones
    2. Get angled risers, but i would need hardware longer than 1 1/2"

If the risers didn't do anything for you, I would definitely suggest trying a stiffer bushing; how much poundage are you packin'?

you shouldn't need anything more than a 1/8" riser to prevent wheelbite with 70mm wheels, although 76mm shouldn't be much of a problem either...

    I'm about 150-155
And the stock bushings are really soft
so, if I get stiffer bushings which one would suggest?

    do you have wheels wells?
    Those are very helpful
and 76mm is almost maxing out the wheel maximum
try 70mm Every dancer I've ridden has had 70mm and has had no problem

or yes, stiffer bushings would help as well

A set of Khiro red barrels or yellow bitches would suit you the best I'd say. if you don't have wheel wells though there's still a good chance you'll get wheelbite unless you throw on a bit of a bigger riser and tighten down your trucks.

better solution; get a Roggs dancer

ooh, didn't think about that! not having worked with bamboo before, I can't say for certain how it will react to being sanded down. But hey, if you're going to try, take pictures and let us know how it goes

Throwin' on some good risers and having a decent bushing set up seems to be a good answer... i noticed the wheelbite...but on a dancer...its pretty stable because of the length, thickness, wheelbase...so a good bushing set up would keep the stability you would like, and the trucks are so wide that raising it up isnt a big deal once you can get the first cross-step(s)- I assume the trucks are 180+. and from my experience on the OSD, it can be set to carve it up, tho wide carves but when Id push it to slide to stop or cut my speed when going downhill, thats when id get wheelbite...so for me a big riser pad and bushing swap is a necessity

STOP - WAIT - I would not even think about sanding wheel wells on my own in a LBL OSD. Try the the bushings and smaller wheels. If still biting contact LBL and send it back for him to put w/w in it. If you touch it you will pretty kill the re-sale value (if you even care). Those boards are too expensive to start hacking away. Put on 70's...

but if you do decide to put in some wheel wells use an angle grinder with 50 grit, then 100 with a palm sander, to 150, then to 220. Mayabe use some french stencils similar to Roggs (Loki440) to help outline them. measure twice, cut once
