I'm thinking about getting one of these.

    2009 New Products - Part 2

The longboards are cheap and made by the top mountainboard company.

I don't either. Are you saying a friend of your has an Atom? Looks like a mountainboard or shlong with scooter wheels.

I suspect Never Summer and MBS are in some sort of joint venture.

I know NS used to make MBS decks. Both companies started fishing around the forums for new product ideas at about the same time last year and early this year.

    Talking Re: Your Cruising/Carving Setup

    Riviera HibiSkulls(Blue) w/normal grip
Paris 180's in silver w/speedy lunatics(which suck), and some weird crappy Riviera wheels that chunk because I drive on "rough" pavement.

    cost me: $173.56

Note* - Don't get the complete unless you are a beginner.

    Soon to be:
    Rayne Hellcat
Indy 215's w/ Core plates (Lime Reflex Barrels bottom, Pink Reflex Barrels top) if they fit
    MHS bearings
    Lemon Freerides

    Landy Spud
    R2 180's (Sabre's or Reflex Barrels if they don't fit Indy's)
    Speedy Lunatic (I think)
    Lime Zigs

Some old beatdown S9 with Tracker 219's and S9 wheels (Rain board)

Hopefully a mini with R2 125's and No Skoolz

Those wheels aren't really drifty. They're just drifty on Original Trucks.

When did you get this setup and how much did you pay? I'm tryin to get a 34 or 37 soon to mess around with. Thanks brotha.

use this to get around the city - shorty's 30"/7.5" deck (tiny), randall 180's, old-ass sector 9 wheels and bitch bushings (90a)

one of these days i'm gonna get some ABEC 11 wheels on there, 90mm or something huge like that. but i swear i could learn to standup slide on this thing easy.

Re-finished Minicarve, Tracker B2s, orange khiros, and clear green Bennett 'gators. Kind of my all around go to reference setup, for kicking around the neighborhood and walking the dog.

Comet Crystal Mountain, red Paris 180s with red barrel and cone Venoms, and red Tarantulas. Variation of the above theme, with the fashionable rocker-and-concave, versus the plank-ness of the minicarve. Wheelbase is a bit long for tight turning, but fine for mellow downhill runs.

Hustler, white 50/50 Randals, some black bushings from MHS, bombsquad noseguard, and well-worn Obombers. For harder carving when I want the tail to kick out, and flex to help toss me from one turn to the next.

Widerglider, MHS hybrid 169s, tall cone green barrel bottom, short cone black khiro tops, and Gravity burners in white. Again for mellow kicking around, but excels at tight turns on sloping streets with a good bit of drift, and with a concave that the minicarve lacks.

I seem to duplicate the same feel across a number of boards, almost like I'm looking for something I haven't quite pinned down yet.

I might need to try an FSM?

Love those bushings. I was sad when my newest set of RIIs came with some harder red bushings.

Good luck with 90mm wheels on a skateboard. That would be a sight to see...

What I really want is an Earthwing Supercharger 40". But, if I get sick of the short deck, I can always throw it on my Sector 9 Bomb Hills (only problem is complete lack of flex - hardly turns at all)

If your wanting to learn standups on these I would suggest something smaller such as, powerballs, EW freerides, or flashbacks just to name a few. Bigger wheels are better on dropped boards such as the demonseed, spud, or evo.
