Yes it is and it kind of surprised me. I initially got it just because it looked cool, it was a nice complete price from MHS. I finally got to ride it yesterday after finishing the safety and pimp mods. It just felt really nice and yes, comfy. Now I wish I'd have had this done before MHS put them up at $99 completes. I'd definitely have got another one. Just keep in mind if you're going to run Independent or similar trucks, you'll have to mod the wells. Worth it though!
how much more on the wells?
how do you your wells i was thinking of the wheel and sand paper. what way you think is better?

The best is what works for you with what you've got. Sandpaper, elbow grease and time will get it done. Others have said that's their preferred method. If you've got one of the small hand held power sanders, it'll save you some time and finger/hand cramps. I've done previous ones with a little orbital sander. After this one though, I'll do wells with dremel type tool. What I like most is the precision and taking out the wood right where I need it. For some you might only need to work them a little. I mount the trucks and wheels I "want" to ride. Squat and lean on the board and mark where the wheel(s) are making contact on the board then start sanding.

I have to say, that is a really beautiful board.
I think i may sell my complex and get this wonderful masterpiece. im just.. in awe. How did you get the blue tinted hybrids?
Oh you know your steezin when you can get wheelbite on a dervish

Krylon X-Metals spray paint. I sprayed the wells, rail edges and hangars with it. It's intended for use on bare metal to give it a hammered look but I started using it on decks too because of the transparent qualities.

Ok so I just put the hybrid plates on my indy 215 trucks, and I put on some sabre bushings (type F and type X). I've got 70mm EW smokers, and I'm getting wheelbite on my Superglider!

I've got 1/4" khiro shock risers as well.

What should I do to fix it? If the trucks are really tight then I don't get any problems, but I also can't carve...which I guess is another problem lol.

    Suggestions?

Corchia, Boomerang, Superglider, SuperCharger, Mystery Model, Drifter, JailBird {{pant, pant}} and most likely my Thruster are all the same way. You either pacate yourself with small wheels, tight trucks or nosebleed risers like the general populace does.

Or hang a left at 8ftbed and modify the wheel wells. I've done 'em all.
If all you've got is some sand paper, then make yourself comfortable get manual.
If you've got a little power sander, it makes life easier although you're kind of limited to sloping wells or you end up actually narrowing the deck some too, which I did on the first boomerang.
If, however, you've got a dremel like tool, put one of the sanding drums on it and (OMG! A new must have for the longboarding community) you'll have "precision" wells.
Paint, clear coat or at least nail polish the wells and you're good to go.
Hmmm, now that I think about, I might not have done the Glider which may be why I didn't ride it a lot. Too tall and/or tight. I'll check and see tonight. If I didn't touch it, I'll do that first with before and after pics and have Smokers on it with no bite at leanus maximus.

    Thanks for the replies!

I thought I read something a while ago about cutting the wheel wells for the 'glider. So I'll just stick with that.

I'm sure my padre has a dremel thing somewhere.

Is there anything I should be careful about? I guess I'll just go thin enough until I don't get any more bite.

But right before my wheels got caught up, it was the sickest carving I've ever done!

Those core base plates are the illest!

I'm 220 at the time. I loved the tight little spring in it's step. It's alive! Doesn't sag. Just gives and springs back if I bounce and in a hard carve. I was pleasantly surprised. I figured it'd be stiff. NOT!

I know it's a bit goofy, but dayumn! I'm having a BLAST with this beast on some of the steepest and narrowest streets in my area. I got it last week, but I'll tell ya' I just can't stop carving this thing. Smoooooth and responsive. Only caveat with this beast is that a BIG hill is a requirement. Forget pushing. HEAVY. However, if you have big long hills in your hood' and you can't get enough carving action, then you owe it to yourself to give one a rip. My KS M1 is still my cruising go-to.
